I'd say that Mr. Cox was the one who overreacted this time. He seemed to suggest there would be a lot of controversy over the choice of Victor Belmont, but honestly, I don't mind it one bit. The Dreamcast game is gone, and it's a nod to its more modern character, so what's the harm? I don't think there are a lot of fans with emotional attachment to that character, and that game isn't coming back at this point. It's a rather inspired choice all things considered. It makes me a little more intrigued; but the problem is, I'm still not crazy about the "play Dracula" idea, or most of the LoS combat/platforming systems seemingly making their return. I don't know what to say about all this. I don't hate the game in of itself, but I'm not super hyped for it, either. With the shock of LoS and its story changes out of the way, and knowing this is the close of Gabriel's tale, maybe I'll just be able to relax and enjoy it more for what it is. By the way, it's been around for a while, but great logo design on LoS2.
