Ohhhh there are people seeking Maria enthusiasts for these kind of runs!!  ;D

soooo kewl!!     ^_^

Castlevania: HD Maria run Chapter 1

Maybe videos like these will inspire Konami to make Castlevania Harmony of Despair 2 with double the chapters.   :)

I sure hope not. Nice try at some postmortem PR though.

Castlevania HD really is the only pure Castlevania developed these days.  It combines the Stage driven, time based, boss eliminating nature of the classics with the more open enviornments, loot and RPG elements that SOTN revolutionized and spiraling co-op real-time maps and more, resulting in a masterpiece of masterpieces (in my opinion)  ^_^

This would've been fine if it wasn't for the fact that you've been doing this before, over and over and over. You know what reaction you're gonna get from this, so I'd say you're a bit of a troll. A very happy and polite troll, but still a troll. But what do I know, I'm not a mod. And with that said I shall not feed you anymore.

Oh like people haven't been bringing up the same subject over and over again, commenting about their favorite Castlevania again,  repeating their thoughts about such and such character or Castlevania.    Also video like the one posted are brand new, and done by different people.  I don't recall ever posting a topic about 6 Marias run for PS3 version anyways and the active status of online community.

It seems rude people just want to attack me because they don't care about the subject material and they have nothing better to do.   So who's the real troll now?

hey you can't deny the fact many people spent more hours playing Castlevania HD (and even now) more times than any other Castlevania in history!!  It's fun, easy to pick up and play, lots of character diversity, great challenge and so many reason to play and the best co-op experiences ever!!  ;D   Well yea the miffed thing about it is the lack of a difficulty setting that's always challenging regardless of skill levels/gear.

Castlevania HD rightfully earned its own fanbase, and all Castlevania fans should respect that.  :)

I mean really, it seems the Castlevania community is not as friendly as the Mario community.  You don't see them bashing Mario Party fans, and Mario Party has already reached it's 9th sequel despite being almost nothing like its platforming reputation!!   :P

People don't even like Mario Party 9 as much as the older games. And besides, you can't really Retardy MP9, which is the current appeal it has in circles.

Harmony of Despair gets old, fast. It's nice people like it, but I'd rather have a Judgment sequel. That game had more effort put into new content, despite being an atrocious fighting game.

I enjoyed your video, Thanks for posting it! I don't think you did anything wrong here and don't understand why some are attacking you for your opinion.

The funnest HD games to me are the diverse ones where everyones a different character, but this is cool since Maria players are few and far between. HD is a good game for the soundtrack alone! It would be nice to see some new levels and content but I doubt that'll happen for years to come.

OHHHHHH I DISAGREE.

Funniest one I ever saw was a storm of tiny Simons on the furthest out camera angle trying to kill Dracula.
How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

Those Maria runs aren't my videos.

People still playing it would gladly disagree with that statement.  ;D
I mean it's like someone that gets bored of Call of Duty or any other videogame saying it gets old fast.  People are still playing it regardless.

It's like every day online it's a Castlevania HD holiday, with 2-6 players co-oping together from different parts of world.   :)   Yea sometimes there's no lobbies, but make a room and people tend to join quick.  And yesterday for example the search found 6 lobbies with 3-5 players in them, so there's at least dozens of players still playing it online.

whaaaaat?  That sure is strange taste.  :P Preferring an atrocious fighting game that's too different and much further from classic Castlevania gameplay than even Lords of Shadow.     New content =/= more fun.   Judgement didn't even have online play, so not sure how you think Judgement had more effort just because it's new graphics, it's still not a true Castlevania.

Castlevania: Harmony of Despair Online Playthrough (Stage 11: The Legend of Fuma)

It would be nice if they add more DLC Chapters or make a direct sequel that expands on the CVHD content, but even with the 11 chapters available, it's still really more fun than replaying any other Castlevania.  ^_^

Funny, I think Harmony of Despair is an atrocious, recycled cash-in, and also an extremely sad way to end the Metroidvania era. But hey, it's only opinions! Let the guy dream of his Judgment sequel. Nothing strange about that. I'd actually rather have that as well, preferably a more classic 2D fighter or something more along the lines of Soul Calibur. But what do I know.

Judgement didn't even have online play

I'm not really sure what you mean by that, because you can fight people online. However, I only fought someone once.

Personally, I'd rather see another Castlevania fighting game than more of Harmony of Despair. Now, I wouldn't want another Judgment either. However, a Castlevania fighting game done right would be pretty sweet. The only reason why I liked Judgment somewhat was because my friends and I would play it. I would bring the game over to my friend's house, so we played it with a big group of friends. That was the only thing that made it fun, lol. We had too much fun dressing up the characters and cracking jokes. XD

I'm sure that maybe Harmony of Despair could be fun if I had someone to play it with, but I don't. I'm not buying it for the PS3 when I already have it for the 360. I refuse to pay for the 360's online services, so I can't really play with anyone. From what I played of it, I didn't really care for it very much anyway. So I'm not sure how much good playing with someone would do me.

I've fought against people from this forum on Castlevania Judgment.
There's even a topic about Castlevania Judgment Friend Code sharing stickied RIGHT UP THERE ON THE TOP OF THE PAGE!!!

Seriously, people should fact-check their stuff before they post.

Also I like putting the silk top hat and using Aeon's alternate color, just so that he looks like he's St.Germaine. xD
