Dudes and dudettes, I just found this out. Someone edited all the cutscenes and most of the narrations from LoS to make it into a watchable film. Over two hours long, those that don't want to play the game now has no reason to enjoy the game's story. It isn't just a collection of cutscenes though, there's some gameplay between cinematics to transition between scenes smoother.

Check them out below. I didn't make it, but this needs more attention.

I wasn't all that impress with the story, but it's not horrible. This is pretty cool and form teh first couple of minutes, it seems pretty well done.

Well done and put together, just got finished watching the whole thing while at work. Nice to hear an original Castlevania melody in the video as well. Honestly, I can't wait to see what MercuryStream will do with LOS2. Mirror of Fate is looking bad@$$. I think the 2nd game is going to blow the original out the water because I think MercuryStream took all the feedback from the hardcore Castlevania Fans into consideration.

LoS is better-off as a motion picture rather then a video game as it seemed it continue to want to go in that general direction.

Kinda like Metroid Other M did. As games get more and more cinematic, more games really should do that kind of thing, its pretty neat.

Although in this case, the gameplay parts could have been edited and done a bit better, hiding the HUD stuff for example, or NOT using double jump and shadow magic before finding it, etc.

Sitting down and watching the story all at once really makes it's glaring flaws obvious. I have to agree it really does make it seem like the whole thing works better as a movie than a game. I can forgive Hollywood-esque fuckery more readily in that format than I can when it's being jammed down my throat as part of the series. Either way, I still like the old continuity better.

Didn't Metroid: Other M have this option? Theater Mode wasn't it?
