I think its because it dont feels like Castlevania to them, they see it like a God of War, also maybe its because of the story and the end. Also its like if it are trying to erase all that came before it.

Well, feel free to add or remove things on this list, and correct me if Im wrong, it seems that it have been discussed here so many times that it looks like that you are trolling, I think thats why uzo said that.

I had a lenghty paragraph about the question but like Crisis said
Seriously. It's beating an extremely dead horse for us to explain yet again why it lacks the CV "feel." All we need is for someone to make yet another topic with the title "why i think LoS is/isn't a true CV game"

We've discussed it for nearly four years and we don't need another thread that will eventually turn into a IGA vs Cox war.

In the meantime, Go play Double Dragon Neon, like right now!

TC I think everyone(well maybe not everyone) feels the same way. To be honest only CV I've played in along time is HoDe. Although I've thought of hooking up the ps2 and playing LoI. Anywho like most people have said just wait and hope it changes.

Okay, so I get accused of trolling when posting a serious question, but offtopic videos are fine. That's cool.

And this
Quote
Seriously. It's beating an extremely dead horse for us to explain yet again why it lacks the CV "feel." All we need is for someone to make yet another topic with the title "why i think LoS is/isn't a true CV game"
is bullshit. This post centers on the presumption that every Castlevania fan has the same opinion on it, and it boils down to being JUST an opinion. And I didn't plan on starting an IGA/Cox war, or make a new thread, I just asked what the problem with it was. So it plays like God of War. So it lacks the pimpwalk(this is a tragedy, I admit). So Cox attempted to reintroduce Dracula's origins. Who cares? I don't think Castlevania should be about the practical appeal or adherence to a FICTIONAL plot, not the way you're implying it. It's the tone that makes the game as far as I'm concerned, and I'll definitely beat the dead fucking horse if no one wants to give me a solid answer.

Actually, let me elaborate on that a bit more. All of you feel it's a dead horse topic because you've had the game since it came out(relatively); I've not even owned it for a year. As such, I'm newer to Lords than the rest of you, and don't know as much about it as you may; however, I don't see why my opinion should be invalidated or looked down on because I don't know as much/don't agree with everyone else. That's HARDLY fair. And it's somewhat pointless to say that it lacks the CV "feel" when the CV "feel" is based heavily on inaccuracies in mythologies and an inconsistent timeline.

No one here's obligated to give you a reason. There's tons of pages to shift through and many topics where all of us have explained our dislike of LoS over and over again. So cut the "i want an answer NOW!!" attitude, in fact many of us have moved forward and are actually looking forward to Mirror of Fate, the first LoS is done and over with.

In fact you can even look on youtube for some LoS reviews that sum up all our thoughts nicely. Or you can be lazy and start a topic "can you guys explain why LoS doesn't feel like castlevania," because you're obviously special.

I didn't say I was special. I said your generalizations were bullshit and just wanted answers.

But fair enough. I'll stop asking Castlevania questions on the Castlevania forum.

Hey! Since when we treated users this way?! Calm down here, he is only asking a question, if no one gonna answer its fine, but we dont need to bash him that way right? He appears here rarely, and when he appears we treat him like that? Lets try to remain calm and civil here, please.

And no, its not mini-moding, but I just doesnt like when people bash or fight each other like that, hau auu~

I appreciate this, I really do, but don't worry about it. If this is the kind of response I get for asking a question then I'd much prefer watching aforementioned YouTube reviews.
