Did anyone beat this mode?
I only managed to advance a couple of bosses in the game back in 2006, and that's a lot.
But I think that finishing it is almost utopic.
If anyone was able to do it, I'd like some advice.
It's the only thing in the game I still didn't do, and I'm planning on replaying the whole game now that some years went by, and since the first time around I did everything, now I'm going for all that again, and this mode.
Now I'm tired, eternally walking... forever dying, and never stopping. I feel in sorrow, all I see is white. I’m following a blind way beneath a sad sky.

You are lucky, since Im replaying PoR only to try this, the last time I completed the entire game with every item and all maxed out, also beat Sisters Mode. Now Im replaying from zero to unlock everything again.

Im playing also Albus Mode in OoE in Hard Mode, its almost impossible but I need to beat only one more boss to reach Dracula xD

i have beat the two PoR and OoE lvl 1 HardMode and  with fresh files. on the start is a hard thing to manage every boss kiling you in 3 to four hit´s your reduced strenght and plus the fact that you can get crazy with the insanous amount of times that you fail, but after some time well you gain pratice with it and it´s a simple matter of analising how the matrix is done and what weapons you must use in the correct time and manner.to beat these two modes requires too much patience for the part of the player, but it not reach the  earth shattering point. if anyone want hint´s i can give couples of them.

I unlocked everything the game has, too. It's the funniest part of MetroidVanias to me.
The best thing in terms of achievement was getting 1000% with Axe Armor. The Nest of Evil was a nightmare.
But Hard Mode LV 1 defeated me. I only managed to defeat a couple bosses and then I had to give up.
This time I hope I can do it.

But any strategy is welcome! :)

Also, Order of Eclessia Albus Mode is very, very hard. The last bosses are amongst the hardest things I ever played.
I didn't try OoE Hard Mode LV 1. Maybe I will give it a chance if I beat the PoR one (or if I give up again, I hope not).

patience is key to win elligor ( and some luck i must admit). the first part you must use acerbatus on his front leg cross bow. but don´t destroy the red crystal in his leg then whe he got weak and jump you must destroy the other cross bow weapon on his left side the next part you must destroy the red cristals. after this comes the hardest part of the boss the one that you must have patience and skill with the stylus as albus.the only thing that damage his eye effectively is albus shots you must shot projectiles until he try to do an attack. he have 3 on hard. they are try to knife you with his tail, try to close you with his sword or try to knock you back.

Pfill to you i recomend 2 thing´s. if you wanna go play a fresh file, have much patience and learn to use the 2 partner system and charlote rock riot spell.(a great shield). if you are going to play with a clear file just use a ancient armor and this will make the game on this mode 10 x more enjoyalbe.

Hey thanks Isso, so Im doing the right thing, good to know :P
I reached Elligor head destroying all his crossbows, but since its a 3 hit kill its easy to die, I dont even want to imagine how I will beat Dracula. Atleast he doesnt is super giant and doesnt spawn magic around the screen like Death and Mega Pony does. I killed Death spamming Flame Kicks, like I did with almost all bosses until this boss.

Did you forgot that to be able to play with Albus you need to beat the game once? I already know that he is hard in Normal Mode with Shanoa because of that, with Albus in Hard it will be surely sadistic. xD

So at last I will have a easy battle in the end? lol

Trivia: Did someone knew that if you burn a zombie in PoR they lose they flesh and become a Skeleton? I tossed a Holy Water in one and laughed when noticed that.

That's funny!
I don't remember it right now if it happened to me back in 2006.

Okay, so my emulator wanted to be a jerk and I lost all my progress from today, I returned from Whip's Memory with all maps until this part 100% to after I've beaten City of Haze, the first portrait. T.T

Im really demotivated now, all the efforts for dropping rare items, doing quests and mastering some sub-weapons are in oblivion now. All because of this Windows Update being set to install updates and reboot without any kind of confirmation (first time this happened, since thats not my PC I didn't sniffed the configurations to know that this could happen with me).
