why they every one hate lords of shadows so much, is nothing to do to star wars, they are old movies in space and lords of shadows and all cox games is a fantasy, every day they invend a new insult to lords of shadows but that can't make change of the truth is the best and always be the best of castlevanias, just to aclarate, is better lords of shadows what star wars.

Want some cheese to go with that whine?!  *throws wine glass*

Topic creator didn't insult Lords of Shadow, but even if he had? If you can't stand the fact that people lightly poke fun at something you enjoy, then you need to grow a thicker skin.

Also, anyone who claims that there are NO similarities between the two stories like you just did is a liar.

And in the background of LoS2's credits, you see a redeemed ghost of Gabriel.......as portrayed by Hayden Christensen.

Why!? Why did you say it? Now it's out in the ether and they'll do it... God save us all.

Betting a pot roast, they'd do it.

Yes, why did someone have to say it!?
Betting a pot roast, they'd do it.
Since it will probably happen now and we starting to betting on whether it will happen or not, I'll see the pot roast and raise with a legion of medusa heads.

Any other bets?

Bring in Jar Jar Binks too.
Then we'd drown our sorrows in alcohol.

This is not so far fetched. I mean, there are already some cringe-worthy pop culture jokes. The most infamous one being a Portal joke.

And that is depressing.

i'll wager a Simon's Quest Tiger Wrist Watch and a sealed U.S. copy of Kid Dracula

also i realized another reference:

Zobek bares a purely 100% coincidental resemblance to Darth Nihilus

Darth Zobek.

Sounds legit.

I don't know why but I've always liked Zobek's design. I mean, it's simple, it gets its job done, but somehow looks cool.

I have a bet, LoS2 will be in our actual time too right? We will find a poster or something like that with Kojima or a old CV character in it. (Someone must bet in less stressful things right?)

At first he reminded me a lot of Drac in Simon's Quest (who himself looks pretty much exactly like Death). I'm eager to see what he looks like without the Devil Mask.

Me too. We only see him 2 ways in LoS1: 1)in his disguise and 2)in his robes with the mask on. We all know the both Cornell and Camilla had both human forms and monster forms. One could argue that his disguise was his human form and that that masked form is his monster form. The problem is that we can't see his face in that form. Considering what his feet look like in that form and what the necromancers look like in the previous levels, I'll assume that it's something like that (skeletal)

About the initial post...
Something recalling Star Wars can't be a bad thing.
I find Darth Vader's story through the 6 movies very touching. I cried a lot with all the scenes from the prequels related to the love story with Padme. Tragic love stories always get me and make me cry.
I think that's understandable for someone who's still waiting for love to arrive...
Now I'm tired, eternally walking... forever dying, and never stopping. I feel in sorrow, all I see is white. I’m following a blind way beneath a sad sky.

But Pfil, Lucasfilms is not a Spanish company and therefore Star Wars is inherently inferior to the LoS canon.  Of course it's a bad thing to compare the two; it's an obvious insult to LoS to be compared to those terrible non-Spanish films.

Oh wait, some scenes in Star Wars was shot on location in Spain.

You are having too much fun with this. :P
It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.
^^
You are now reading this in Robert Belgrade's voice.

Then Lords of Shadow 2 just takes a big, semi-solid, smelly, pea-green dump all over everything.
