It seems rather lacking. Not in the graphics, but much more so in game play and interactivity with background elements.

That looks like even more of a ripoff than Soul of Darkness.  Main enemies?  Let's see:  Death, Succubus, Medusa...  And that throne room is straight out of Castlevania.  It's sad when the third-rate knockoffs have better platforming than the actual CVs (at least, better than most of the Igavanias).

What i like in this game, is the platforming. The only 2D Castlevania game that has come close in terms of platforming in my opinion, was Circle of the moon.

The graphics and level design look good, but I'm with the above posters...way too derivative for my tastes. It's like they're not even trying to be anything but CV clones! :p

It should've been released as a fan app. I'd certainly have tried it out; Metroidvania CV's are rather lacking these days...
