...which is probably why it's most likely a bootleg.

What do you want to say?

Anyway, The website - Chapel of Resonance is awesome.

This is pretty interesting. I got my COTM very early when it was released, and my book is coloured with those Sickles. <-- Canada resident.

How about PAGE 22 ~ PAGE 23?

Are there Sickles in your Page 22~23?

That depends on how rare it is.

The black and white manual is not a bootleg, because I have it, too  :-X
I bought my copy at KMart.

I got mine at Kmart.  It's in full color, with the sickles.  I think the obvious answer to this is that there were several different print runs with slightly different versions.

But doesn't print quality usually go down over the course of a game's print-life?  I mean, first runs will come out with full color game manuals and some extras, and as the game's popularity dies out, the quality of the prints gets scaled back too.

Seriously, who the Hell's gonna pay Sh!t for that?! I doubt even the biggest CV collector would. Again, it's not a big deal

I would totally say that game is mediocre at best. Saying SotN or CVIII sucks makes you more an "anti-Castlevania" then saying CotM sucks.

Seriously, what are you, 12 years old? Making a big deal over something nobody cares about. Even if you did get in contact with someone at Konami, they'll probably not remember or even care.
What a horrible night to have a curse!

I'm guessing the black and white manual is actually for the later prints.  I bought my copy in 2003 or so, and I always felt that the quality of the manual was very crappy.

What do you want to say?

Anyway, The website - Chapel of Resonance is awesome.

Thanks, that is a very encouraging thing to say  :)

I think you're way too excited over something that nobody probably cares about.
You'd be surprised...I've seen and even participated in some "how to tell a sealed NES/SNES game" threads (mostly to say that this sort of stuff is dangerous for collecting since any "rules" could be used by counterfeiters).

Anyhow, hmm.

No game rare or not is worth millions, nor is any manual, a few thousand yes, hell one Saturn game by the name of Mizubaku Daibouken (Liquid Kids in the US) only had 2,000 copies ever printed, highest I've ever seen it run is $300, considered one of the rarest titles ever printed.

In the collector realm, the most valuable thing is not which one is the best, but which one is the rarest.

The shittiest wrestling game ever in the world : FC M.U.S.C.L.E. bid 756,000 yen in Japan last month.

http://page16.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/u22182956

Do you gonna pay about $7,500 USD for that shit?
Someone will.
