If SotN-era Maria showed up in the next Pachislot game, what changes do you think Konami would make to her design so she fits into the cheesecake pin-up girl universe known as Castlevania Pachislot?

Probably make the skirt at least an inch shorter. Make her quite a bit more voluptuous. That'd probably be enough to give the game a pin-up girl.

Or maybe just even have her appear like this and leave it at that:

The problem with the swimsuit is it's a completely different outfit.  It should really be something that resembles her green outfit but looks like someone hit it with a skank hammer.  Like how you can tell Pachislot Sypha is still supposed to be Sypha, but they redesigned her to be all legs, boobs, and kawaii uguu anime girl.  But your ideas sound interesting.  Very, very interesting.  I'm writing it down.

edit:  Okay, this is what I have so far



lol MS paint SLENDERMAN XD etc.  Whatever.  I didn't bother drawing her hair since that all stays the same.  Her whole green thing is now a two-piece.  The "x" shapes on her top are supposed to be where it's laced shut.  She's wearing her sash a little lower for optimum belly button exposure.  There's probably a button or more lacing underneath the sash to keep the skirt on.  Her hands are supposed to be facing different directions to show how her gloves work on both sides (they're reimagined as bridal gloves).  She's supposed to be wearing heeled boots instead of pretty gold loafers with socks (those never made sense to begin with imo).  Instead of green ribbons on her socks, she's wearing one green ribbon on her thigh like a garter because why the hell not.  Nobody can make up their minds if her canon design is supposed to be wearing bike shorts or panties under her green thing, so this one is kind of in-between and wearing hot pants.  The wavey white stuff are supposed to be the same patterns on her official outfit.  She has a choker now and the little gold part is supposed to have an owl icon on it because MUH SYMBOLISM (the guardian owl motif stops vampires from chomping her neck). 

In terms of design inspiration, it’s about 60% Symphony Maria, 30% Pachislot Angela, 20% Shunya Yamashita’s version of Tekken Alicia, 10% Cure Sunshine, and 2% Bioshock Elizabeth.

122% fanservice.

I'm pretty close to commissioning this to someone who can actually draw, so you guys better get your responses in.

Midriff is a must. Your concept (?) picture actually works kinda well. Hell, you could even go further and move the skirt down a bit to show summa dat thigh bone. lol
