Topic: Who thinks they should make a third game in the Sorrow series?

As you can tell by my first post, "Post your idea for the next CV game!" I am 100% certain that they should make 1 last game in the Sorrow series to finish it off. That quote by Arikado to Soma, "Or are you saying you want to be the Dark Lord?" left me hanging. Does anyone agree? I think they should make a 3rd sorrow game as long as it isn't to repetitive of the first 2. It should have a 10/10 story, since it would probably conclude the sorrow series. But I think they should make it interesting, not just another cult out to kill Soma. It should have some more punch. If they did a Julius mode (I'm sure they would) it should have its own storyline. And it would be interesting if you could play the whole game as evil Soma...

Who is that guy next to Joachim on the banner at the top? Not Pumkin, but the person to the right. I'm wondering why Leon isn't up there too.

Are you sure it's Leon? I've seen Leon's 2d sprite at the end of Richter mode in PoR and it look's nothing like that. It doesn't even have blond hair, it's gray. Plus, it's not wearing Leon's clothes

It's Leon. It's a fan sprite, Jorge's I think. The PoR one is the only 'official' 2D sprite of Leon, and it's just that one frame.

Aria of Sorrow wrapped up its story nicely, and DoS was pushing it. I think a third Sorrow game would be overkill.

Nope. I don't think the Sorrow games should have been made in the first place. The games themselves are cool but the story lines are ridiculously stupid.

I wouldn't mind another future Castlevania, but I'd like a main character that isn't Soma. Or maybe a game further into the future, where Soma is a fifty year old badass like Julius and/or acts as a side character.

 The Sorrow games have been the best since SotN and I'd love to see another one. Soma is badass, and the white & blue color theme of the games is gorgeous. Not to mention, the soul system is way too rad.

I love the Sorrow series, probably more than anyone..

But I don't know if it needs another game in it.

Story-wise it defiantly doesn't, but the thought of never playing as Soma again makes me sad.

The soul system was a tremendous idea and it would be sad to see it never get used again.

After Symphony of The Night, aria of sorrow is my most favorite castlevania. Dawn of sorrow was a little let down. So i don't think a third one will be nice.

I was thinking about a game in which Alucard sees Soma as such a theat that he has to be destroyed. 

Basically, another cult would be after Soma and he will go after them.  Alucard would track down Soma and after soma beats the cult, instead of the game ending there would be one final boss: Alucard.  he would say that soma is too reckless and is putting the future of mankind in a dangerous situation.  Thus he must be destroyed.  Half way through the battle Alucard, who is in his disguised form of Arikado, would reveal his true self to soma and attack at full power.  It is at this point in which there would be one of two endings.  the winner of the fight would loss his humanity and become the next dark lord.  Then there would be two Julius modes.  in one, the final boss would be Soma and in the other Alucard would be the final boss.  And of course the bosses in each Julius mode would differ depending on which one is the final boss.

The power of fantasy!! Although your scenario sounds interesting, i doubt that something good like this will ever become true.

thats a nifty idea, but I do think Soma knows that it is Alucard.

AoS was good, DoS -was- pushing it in only that it did not advance the plot....and as we all know the only way to advance the plot is for soma to become dracula...we cant have castlevania w/o drac!

Its a nice break from the "wtf! its not a hundered years yet" games.

I personally liked it as well too. Also where some of my idea sort of originated concerning  fan story I'm building up.
