Thanks for the link to that discussion on the Lament of Innocence manga - a pity that it is pretty much lost forever even in Japan :(

I saw this topics and it makes me sad :( Even Konami is dying now so I have no hopes anymore.

At least the games still exists so I will enjoy then when I can!

Nice to see I'm not the only one coinilius :) Enjoy and play it loud so you can immerse yourself in those beautiful songs!!!!!

That's too bad.  I remember when it first came out, and I spent a couple of days piecing together the preview pages and translating them with help from a friend.  Unfortunately I think I had originally posted them on the old forum, and I can't seem to find them in my catalog of saved CV stuff.  The only thing I was able to retrieve was the untranslated page with all the characters and their relationships.

Seems like this manga is destined to be forgotten.  :-\

Without going into too much detail as I'm using a mobile device, the 2 games I include into the established "official" timeline are CV64/ LOD.
I like to believe that either Dracula did inherit his wolf form from Cornell or that he inherited the full Lycan form as seen in LOD's ending.
Since Dracula the novel is canon, the latter especially would explain the killings in London (inferred to be the Ripper murders) and why the novel describes a beast who committed them.
If the former is true then one would have to explain why Alucard also has a wolf form.

Regarding CV COD, I believe St Germain is Eneomaos since he'd mastered time he was the one who left Hector all the hints under an alias in order to assist his success.

Legends and Resurrection happen in their own separate timeline.

Cotm is not linked to any other game since the setting is Austria.

Mathias sought/ used black magic with those who dabbled in it described in the Dracula novel to acquire the Crimson Stone.
My assumption is this was done by making a pact with Satan, which started the manifestation of Chaos by Mathias denouncing God. As part of the pact a sacrifice was required, by which Mathias sacrificed his own humanity, eventually becoming Lord of the Vampires.

I hate how that snippet is all that we have anymore while the rest is lost, much like that promotional cell phone ringtone Moi Dix Mois did for Harmony of Dissonance that seemed to disappear off the face of the earth after 2002. I know both are ultimately mundane in the grand scheme of things, but it's still a bummer that both are lost...

On topic, I don't have a headcanon worth mentioning, even though my head is in fact a Soviet MS-3 100mm field gun.

A persistent false rumor is that Mana, guitarist of Moi dix Mois and Malice Mizer, composed the music for this game. In fact, Mana did not write any music that appears in the game itself; he only wrote a promotional cell phone ringtone "La nuit blanche". This ringtone was only released in Japan.

Director of that one 1999 fangame that is not out yet.

Huh, really? To be fair, it's an obscure fact now. I mean, ultimately it'd be just some short j-rock MIDI (keep in mind...2002-era cellphones here). Still would be cool to hear, though...

What made you put Kid Dracula in that particular spot, If I may ask?

Well, Lament doesn't have Dracula, and Legends does, but neither of the games have Kid Dracula. Iunno, I always just put it there because it couldn't make sense anywhere else to me.

Interesting placement idea :) I've just gone with placing it 10,000 years in the future so towards the end of my play though.  That just seemed to be the most common placement for it (if people are trying to place it in a timeline) so it was interesting to see someone place it somewhere else.
