There is one behavior in the internet that is driving me mad about this shit, and that is people defending Konami "because profit."

They speak about numbers and how pachinkos are popular, and all I hear is "it's not a franchise I love and I don't care, therefore shut up and let Konami fuck your ass with whatever bullshit they decide to do."

People are seriously rationalizing "EROTIC VIOLENCE" with "It makes profit, thus you cannot feel bad."

Red hair, green eyes, This is the only thing I can say without a doubt is good, but everything else is head scratching like this looks like it could have been a console game and good one at that. Also the term "Erotic Violence" can fit nicely into this series. Hey if Bayonetta can have non-stop climax action I don't see the problem with cv having erotic violence. I also find it odd than for what it is a slot machine, it looks that good I mean why give so much effort into something like slots?

Here's a thought the redhead get possessed and becomes "dark" so you have to whip her and every time you whip her she get's a little giddy and stuff and you need a 777 to break the possession by shaft or something or one like him who knows. But if they want erotica than shoot withholding imagination be damned.

My crazy conspiracy theory is that she'll become the SotN succubus by the end of the game.

Her hair style almost matches. The way her jacket/blouse/negligee thing hangs over her panties is taking visual clues from the LoI succubus design, and she would probably get even skimpier if she were corrupted. The Pachi games already have a history of putting the main heroine through an evil makeover (Angela). The eyecandy shot of her boobs is shown directly following the eyecandy shot of Annette's boobs, and Annette became a succubus in DXC's alternate ending. And the biggest hint: The SotN succubus doesn't appear in the trailer at all, despite this being a Richter-era game.

Ha, okay... I can't be the only one here who is getting deja-vu of what Telenet later did with the Valis series... heh, similarly in line with pretty much disregarding a long-running game series and essentially turn it into smut. Granted, this is less severe as that infamous official Valis X hentai thing, but still... gets me even more worried about this crumbling franchise... (I like boobage too but I don't want this franchise to become something only known for that.)

Only positive, these Castlevania Pachinko games still adhere to some of the older familiar imagery, mythos, characters and music. Just sucks that this is what we get instead of an actual "game"... A real kick in the ol' dick, am I right?

I went back to watch the trailer to check on something, and… uh, guys?

There’s more than one succubus in the trailer. It’s not just the LoI one. You’re seeing random flashes of up to three different succubi characters (but definitely at least two)

The lighting might be messing with the colors, but the succubus looming over an exhausted/grieving Richter at the beginning of the trailer looks like she could have red hair. She’s definitely rocking out some black boots or stockings, though.

Here’s the second succubus to get teased in the trailer. She’s completely different. She has no legwear, her flower bikini isn’t the same, and she has wavier hair than the blonde LoI succubus.

And… it’s Annette. Like, it’s totally Annette, no questions asked. You can tell by the design of her corset. She looks almost exactly the same as her L. Vampire form in DXC.

Next up, there’s the cringe-inducing “Vampire Killer Paizuri” sequence. But let’s actually break this down. This succubus wears the same bat-bra and three piece choker as the LoI succubus in this game, but doesn’t that hair look a little dark for her?

After the symbolic boob job, there’s the quick shot of Miss Redhead fighting the Cerberus. Then we see the first confirmed sighting of the LoI succubus. Notice the straight blonde hair.

Now, you remember this part of the trailer that shows the succubus mostly obscured in shadows and spinning around with her doppelganger magic making copies of herself? The scene that was seemingly put in just to throw some extra booty on the screen for shameless fanservice?

Look closer.

Right after the scene with the mystery succubus doing her little dance, there’s the last clear shot of the LoI succubus getting off on… something. Notice the straight blonde hair, the three piece choker, and how her bra armor is shaped like bat wings.

The last part of the trailer shows this quick sleazy close-up of Succubus Annette’s bikini, followed by a quick sleazy close-up of normal Annette’s chest, followed by a quick sleazy close-up of New Girl’s chest. What does that say about New Girl?

Totally separate observation that may not actually amount to anything: The little motion the LoI succubus is doing with her fingers and her tongue early in the trailer is a vaginal lick. She's not being passively flirty. She's not making one of those yandere anime faces. She's got a hardcore craving for some juicy meat tacos. Her gestures imply she’s trying to seduce a female character rather than Richter. There’s any number of provocative phallic things she could be doing if she were going after him.



It goes by REALLY quickly if you’re just watching the trailer normally, but it’s pretty obvious when you slow it down.

My best guess for how this all fits together? The Pachinko game is adapting DXC’s plot so Annette gets captured and L. Vampire-ized early on, but it’s only temporary and Richter helps her return to normal. The LoI succubus sets her sights on New Girl and succeeds in creating a new minion the second time around. This leads into SotN where Dracula has the redhead succubus doing his bidding.

Seriously, they should just make an officially licensed hentai game at this rate, like Bible Black and having 16 or so endings based on Richter's choices or whatever.
At least make it look like they care about narrative too.

That's the best we can expect from Konami these days.
