Doesn't look like they fixed Vaan's abs. Anyway, hope it comes on Steam as well, and with it the possibility to buff Balthier and Fran's gun and bow animation speeds respectively on our own via modding if they forgot to fix that as well. (In case you didn't know, they both ironically suck at using their own signature weapon classes due to their animations for them being the slowest).
It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.

A steam release would indeed be cool.

Looks like they're using a very similar engine to FF 14 online. Wouldn't surprise me if that was the case.

I have waited a decade to repost this.

You have researched breathing is taken to extreme levels in 12, leading to it being my least favorite game in the main series.
How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

Still better than XIII tho. :V

That said, there's a possible lore justification for that; seeing as Ivalice is a land built around law, it could very well be that LPs are pretty much evidence that you've been performing community service that you hand in for permit to equip/wield whatever stuff is locked behind that license. Stat bonuses could very well be a similar deal to FFTA2's clan trials. Still trying to figure out the case for Mist abilities though.

I dunno pal.
I walked away from XII bored out of my mind after about 10 hours of playtime.
I at least got to 27 hours of play on XIII before hitting that same threshold because the battle mechanics were sane.

Unlike 12.

To be honest, when it comes to FF games I tend to give the gameplay a pass if the story's good enough to keep me interested. Vaan becomes more bearable when you realize his actual role not as a main character, but an important one regardless.
