Hopefully she doesn't disperse. I'm so sick of that animation(even though I barely die at all in Metroidvanias). Its just so boring.

an epic way to go would have death slice your body into chunks then you disperse, or dracula "i'll turn you to ashes" literally with a fire attack

Maybe we'll get environmental based deaths, like if she's killed in the water, her body maybe disperses as if it were melting, killed by fire, she bursts into flames, etc.

I love how everybody is all frantic and whiny about the death animation....
What a horrible night to have a curse!

yeah, megaman's got a pretty sweet death. Especially that they use it in Marvel vs Capcom

Pardon my ignorance, but didn't SoTN *kind* of have that? Although you still disintegrated, you disintegrated in different ways depending on what element killed you--if it was a normal attack, just blood, but if it was electricity, you'd kind of burn up while sheathed by sparks, fire, little flames would dance around as you crumbled into ashes, ice, an ice cube would surround you, etc.

I thought it was kewl, prunyuu~

I would love if her clothes just burst off her, like Samus' suit does.

Well, if that happened, the game would probably have a mature rating due to nudity.  Not that I would complain.

lolwut? For serious? You're making me want to find my copy of SotN and let some Lossoth, Frozen Shades and... uh, something with an electric based attack kill me.

Galamoth.

Dunno, but I didn't realize there are different death animations. Maybe cuz I only died like two or three times at all.

Death scenes like in Resident Evil 4 would be neat. I like how the novistadores puke Leons face away with acid, or how "it" tears off his torso and then plays with his legs, 'nyu'.

Symphony had different damage graphics for elemental attacks, whether you were just getting hit or actually killed.
