Totally agree! If IGA claims SOTN to be the best CV game he ever created then why he doesnt put voice acting in the dialogue? but please if he does I just hope none of the characters voice acting ends like richter in the prologue!! Wait a minute........"Die monster you don't belong in this world".............In second though........Naaaaaaaahhhhhh!!! I think OOE will be just fine without voice acting! ROFL! ;D

thanks for the info! I always thought that the bigest cartridge for the DS was 1GB.

If IGA puts voice acting in the new game, people will just complain about it until he re-releases the game 10 years later with different voice acting. People will then complain about it again.

People always complaining about the new Castlevania games, even for the tiniest thing! So, that thing might be voiceover or scenario or graphics or endings or music etc.......! I've get used to it so the same think should go and for some others!

I agree. People will complain nonetheless. Especially when you get to American VA vs Japanese VA. ::)

I'd like to at least see an attempt like the SOTN voice overs then no attempt at all. If they do this more often they'll probably get better at it so it would at least help future CV games develop.

I'd rather have CD quality music rather than waste the space on voice overs. :P

Speaking of music, I am SO curious about the soundtrack... I've been having some doubts about Yamane lately.. can she come up with something new? She's always good, but the songs aren't exactly blowing me away like they did on the SotN soundtrack... which is understandable cause her style felt so fresh back then.

But still... I want to hear new stuff, not just variations of the songs she's been doing for the last 10 years. PoR was good, but also predictable at times. And the best songs weren't even made by her, but by Koshiro. IMO.

Which ones did Koshiro-san do anyway?

It is a nice change to see an artstyle somewhat similar to Kojima but without the male characters looking like women.

Actually.. That's what I LIKE about her.
Well, well.. we all have different taste.

Dance of Sadness, which is probably my favorite track. Also, The Gears go Awry, which is my second favourite. And then Invitation of a Crazed Moon of course, which wasn't my favourite but it's still cool and different from what Yamane usually does. He also composed Banquet of Madness, which isn't that unique but it's still an excellent song!
I think he did something else too.. just can't remember what it was.

It fits for some characters... but sometimes she takes it to far, best examples being Juste and Maxim.  Soma and Alucard I can completely understand, them being more supernatural and vampiric.  Her Trevor in CoD was really good, as was her Richter for DXC.  But her proportions were more often than not, pretty bad, and at times inexcusably horrible.

Yes, yes, and yes. As I've posted before, the single biggest advantage so far of the CD games, especially SoTN, has been the quality of the music.  And so far, neither anything on the GBA or the DS has come halfway close. If you want an epic game, you've got to have some epic tunes, and MIDI-sounding repetitive nonsense isn't going to cut it.
If I forgot "everything I knew about Castlevania" I certainly wouldn't be excited about a new one coming out now would I?
