Indeed, the graphics and inner castle backrounds are too similar the Portrait of Ruin. It's gonna bother me immensely while playing it so much, that I'll be expecting my character to Charolette until I see a cut-scene or hear "NOW IS THE TIME OF YOUR DEMISE!" Personally, in that aspect anyway, I'm disappointed with the final product.
Also, yes, I agree, it does look terribly easy, and yes, that guy playing was absolutely awful! YOU CAN'T REACH THE STUPID TREASURE CHEST! GET OVER IT! However, think about it. It could be much easier considering skeletons took 4 hits to take out. Also, I like the idea of doing small quantities of damage. Shanoan was hitting 4's off of skeletons. That either says that the game IS being made more difficult, or at least not clearly easier, OR that guy just really sucks...badly.
I'm also disappointed with the fact that they're using the same save system as Portrait of Ruin. That's gonna bother me. I actually didn't even like it in PoR, but to use it AGAIN?! Ugh, I'm gonna hate that...
Sorry for the super long post, but...
Anyway, what do you guys think of the magnetic field glyph? I think it's a very good idea, though when I first saw it in the trailer, I automatically assumed that it would be activated and controlled by the touch screen instead of being used just like any normal glyph. It looks like that glyph is going to be used very often throughout the entire game. It would probably get really annoying quickly having to use the touch screen to launch your self from room to room, from platform to platform...So, I'm actually glad that they made it that way!

At any rate, it's a brand new Castlevania game to add to the series, and I think I speak for everyone here when I say I can't wait to finally play it. Well, let's just hope I don't die of anticipation! Overall, I'm impressed with Konami's work and Iga's (I can't believe I just said that!) and I hope they continue to do this well in the future, depending on whether Order of Ecclesia actually IS any good or not, which I hope it is!
