People are complaining about ONE trailer-exclusive song from a game that's not due for release until late Fall and using that to judge the entire game's soundtrack?

Talk about wild assumptions.

For the record, I like this still-frame animation 100% better than the animation in the first two. I think it has more style. I also like the music that played during the first half of the trailer quite a bit, but during the gameplay sequences, I did find it underwhelming.

The bosses look okay. I'm damn sick of The Creature, though.

I certainly hope many things will be subject to change, however, since I can see that a lot needs work.

That waterfall in the trailer looks identical with the one in SOTN.
it looks more like dos's. sotn version used a superior additive blending effects while both dos and this here seem to use a simple transluscency.

also the animated parts in the intro animation aren't really drawn. they're done with 3d models and cel shading like pork's intro.

This is interesting, but...  something is off...

I guess I can't expect to be blown away by DS graphics at this point, but nothing really stands out at all.  I suppose the gameplay may be a departure, but it's looking more and more like a rehash of the soul system at this point.  And yes, the music is truly underwhelming.  Sad.  Looks like the team may have stepped up the stage design, but ...

I'm on the fence here.  My patience has dramatically increased after watching that video a few times.  The wait is a little less painful now.

the first song is alright, I hope it's used in one of the areas, not just in the intro... but the second one is just plain unhummable. I think it sounds like some generic fanmade stuff. Bottom line; It's not very good.

If that's the main/entrance/whatever theme, the rest better be A LOT more memorable.

I find it hard to believe they will change something on this game as it is. Remember: ESRB rated the game already. Usually they do this for games that are finished.

In a series dominated by male protaganists, I'm glad that they decided to switch it up. If anybody doesn't like it, JUST DON'T BUY THE DAMN GAME, sheesh.

The beetle boss looks like it'll be similar to fighting Gergoth. Overall, the game looks like it'll be a joy to play through. I wanna see some grotesque enemy designs! Shanoa's taunts sound like they could get annoying after a while, but I won't let any of it bother me. I wonder what type of bonus features we will get this time around?

I'm not impressed by this trailer, but I'm usually not impressed by any portable game. Hopefully the next announcement would be the one, though.

People have a right to state what they like or dis-like about a game.  And why is it so important to have a female lead?  You never hear guys complaining about no males in Metroid.  It doesn't matter to me either way, but people need to chill out.  If he doesn't wanna play as a chik that is fine, many people feel the same.

If it was a game that it is almost finished, why then they say that it has to be released at late fall and not earlier? Also why they have only beta versions of the game and third why IGA on a interview said that he will pushed the team to work for some extra details and futures of the game so that they will get a late fall release of the game or else it will go for an early 2009 release date!

...I think it's pretty clear that this game is far from finished.

How dare you sully my interwebs with your rationality...

anyway, if he doesn't want to play girl characters that's his loss since he's missing out on some really good games.

I'm more interested in playing another non Belmont than the fact that she is a she.

Besides, we all know the bonus will be RICHTER MODE!!!, since that never gets old...
