I disagree. Circle of the Moon is fun to play, but it can border on frustrating especially when one needs to grind levels and look for cards.

It's hard but not that bad. I never had to just sit and grind. once you get the bosses patterns down it ain't that bad and you can take most of them down w/out taking too many hits. (except the dual dragons (mother fuckers)  ;D

When did HoD recycle bosses? I'm not sure if you mean the CVIII throwbacks (Skull Knight, Cyclops) or if you're confused about something.

Well the minotaur boss for on was used multiple times as far as in game boss recycling goes, I meant that just about every boss was from another game there were no true HOD bosses except Dracula's second easy breezy form.

I'm kind of worried about this actually.  I don't think the essence of the series will be captured at all.
But to answer your question Simon, you just have to...and yes although I'm a girl Milla would be good too.
I hope they get a good gothic feel to it though , and not  cheesey action flick like the Hulk or something.

Harmony of Dissonance had some great boss fights, and even though there were a few repeats, they did an excellent job making them so they were more original. Besides, the game had so many bosses, it didn't really matter if some were already used! The giant bat was necessary for the sake of all things Castlevania, the skull knight was awesome and a lot of fun and the minotaur was good too, though I hate really really big bosses! Luckily, it wasn't nearly as big as Dawn of Sorrow's Menace. That thing was wicked annoying! Possibly my least favorite Castlevania boss ever! However, fighting Soma in that game was very fun, and I enjoyed it a lot, even though he was my favorite character. Anyway, back on topic, Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance has my favorite bosses and my favorite boss rush mode, especially using Simon Belmont as a character. My record is like 5 minutes 7 seconds or somthing like that. (too lazy to check the exact record)
