Dracula 2000(Wes Craven Presents Dracula 2000, though Craven really had nothing to do with it) was stupid, yet interesting. Stupidity lies in all the modern pop culture references there to make this movie appeal to MTV-kiddies. OMG, look, a Virgin Record store!!! Look, it's Hyde from That 70s Show!!! The whole bit about Epps and his crew of theives being these wannabe badass trenchcoat wearing guys was stupid stupid STUPID! I'm so sick and tired of all these modern movies and their wannabe badasses. WTF is that? The actual Dracula aspect was a little more interesting and more CV-like by having Dracula's origins NOT being that of Vlad Tepes. Also, I kinda got a CV flash when the dude opened the bible and the pages flew out and attacked Dracula, burning him. Other than that, the New Orleans setting was bad and just yet another excuse so that we can see pointless boobs at Mardi Gras. Oh yeah, the music chewed as well! That whole scene in the beginning where it's basically just a collage of people partying during Mardi Gras and the rock music is playing(I haven't seen it in a while, though it might be Linkin Park), urgh, I never wanted to destroy my generation more than when I saw that.
