gee, it's starting to sound like I could have been the first one on the block to get and play the game, if only i didn't have to work a bunch of overtime...  i hope my brother wasn't pulling my leg when he said Gamestop left a message on my machine saying it would be available for me today.

IGN said some pretty postives things about the game, and the users of the site are giving it a B+, and the user reviews are really the ones that mostly matter.

Holy Cross is best Item Crash.

From the IGN review "The entire game is laid with fan service and actual canonized content. "  This agrees with my belief that everything in this game is canon except for the events themselves.  If Aeon tells Eric that "Jealousy of the whip does not excuse your arrogance with the lance.", then we know for sure that Eric was jealous of the whip growing up, but it doesn't mean that Aeon ever actually met Eric.

I am keeping my eye out for any plots that end up with the game actually being canon, but then "erased" from the Castlevania timeline.  So, it happenned, but because it happenned the way that it did, it ended up never happening...

With these in mind, is this game canonizing Cornell?

Then there's the cosmetic changes that seem to impact storyline and maybe conflict with it.  Did Trevor really lose his eye and then get a new one?  Was Sypha really not concerned about people thinking she was a woman (just as long as they didn't think she was a witch) and then later decided that she'd better hide her gender too?

possibly trevor was taken after the events of COD, or possibly instead of isaac stabbing him in the chest, he was stabbed in the eye, the COD manga If they do the game rendoration might explain this further, as for sylph, i assume she was aken from after CV3, all in all minor continuity errors are always present in timetravel storys

I'm expecting some feedback as soon as the game is out. Well, I wont get it until next year anyway. But hey, OoE comes tomorrow! (only played through once with my supercard, didn't want to unlock anything and get 100% before getting the original) So I'm really engaged.

The character profile for Trevor says that he lost his eye during his battle with Dracula.

This cannot be. Remember that Trevor had already killed Dracula once before the events in CoD. It metions it right in the begining of CoD in the prologe.

I want to see some vids of alternate costumes.

I wondering if they say anything special when they meet then, since that Trevor is probably already married to her and this version of Sylph has yet to meet him.

I've already bought my version but I promised my boyfriend I wouldn't play it until he got home (a big fighting game fan).  :'(

But honestly, from what I've seen and heard, I'm looking forward to it. It sounds like a fun game. And all the little canon tid bits are just gonna rock.  And HA! I knew that thing someone was saying about IGA stating there wouldn't be  more outfits was either a lie or misinterpreted. That's like the norm in fighting games now.

Hahaha! That is actually really weird. I wonder how that'll turn out...

Anyway, I wanna know about the unlockable characters! IGN hinted that there are a couple of secret ones... Soma? Isaac? Stella/Loretta? FLYING MEDUSA HEAD!?!?  8)

I just gotten the game. I find it fun to play. So far I've been using Grant a lot and he's cool to use. Stages have no specific music, they play character themes instead. Like if you're facing Simon; Vampire Killer will be playing, against Trevor; The Beginning, against Golem; Tower of Dolls, and so on.

You can also use Wii Remote + Nunchuk, Classic Controller, or the GCN controller.

Wow, though I didn't much like anything of that game so far, I find it really cool, how they transferred Shanoa's movesets into 3d. Pretty much all of her skills in Judgment are taken from OoE, which is pretty nifty. Also she even looks kinda fun to play.

And WHAT? You can use the GC controller? Awesome! :o
