Topic: Castlevania Judgement (Official Thread)

Sorry for being harsh earlier, just been having a rough week.
But to be honest, although I may not be a Obata-sama fan, it does give Castlevania a new life. Maybe its intended to make the legends "rock stars". On a certain level, maybe CV needs an update. Even though its integral to the past, it might need a new audience.

I know I might be getting bumped for admitting this. A fellow fan of a series for 20+ years..

I thought it over for awhile, and who knows. This could be a revise that may just change CV's optimism. Its not just a platformer / rpg / castletroid series. After all, its a series that defined the word "challenging", and "take back the night".

Consider this my positive outlook on this new project.
And here I say, I welcome it.

Bumped Why? The series need changes after ten years with the same formula (and the same artist too)

There are great ideas wich can be taken to a new gameplay (glyphs, equipment, etc) in fact, Symphony of the Night supposed a change too, a great change, and most of CastleVania fans loved it, right? Do they was bad CastleVania fans? I don't think so.

When i look to Mario fans (myself) and see them excited about a New Mario Kart or a New Smash Bros i ask myself what's wrong with us.

Why not to accept a CastleVania 'cause is a Fighting Game? I find the criticisms total nonsenses (even saying that the gameplay images are crap, damn, do yo kwon what's the common level on Wii? The graphics are FANTASTIC for a Third Party Wii Game)

Be a bit more open-mind, why are the CastleVania so closed? I didn't expected this

You know as well as I do that anyone in Smash Bros could just pick someone and spam a move over and over and win regardless of who is playing.

I have nothing against changes generally. If they are good, then I'm totally fine. Like the OoE artist. He's way better than Kojima. But I simply can't stand obata's versions of the CV-characters. It just doesn't seem to fit. While OoE's artwork does. Face it. Castlevania is no fantasy story in some fantasy world. It IS fantasy, but in our world. Nobody would dress up like the characters in Judgment do.
