Had it been the Death Note artist, YET he didn't design Simon looking like Light and Maria looking like Misa, I would've agreed with you.

On another note, I doubt antraxx can continue the claim that the graphics are like first gen ps2.  Like I said before, you can't base things on grainy screenshots.

I personally don't care for Death Note, but depsite any and all difference, weeaboos like what they like, and it almost always goes with "anime in trend". I forgot to list Haruhi Suzumiya up there.

The differences is that not many CV fans knew of Ayami Kojima prior to SotN. A lot of, especially Western fans, started liking her because of her CV involvement, hence researched her work other than CV.
