Maybe cuz you can only learn from the past unless there's something in the present.

What? People are hoping to freakin' God for this game to be 2D(even though the teaser was in plain 3D CG) and if it's 3D people are going to automatically assume it sucks just because of the past games. People should not be so stubborn, ignorant, and closed-minded like that.

That's not it. Well, I can only talk for myself here, obviously. I don't think something awesum will come out of this, BUT I will give it a chance. Maybe it'll be a great game and if that happens, I'll gladly take my assumptions back.

Dracula X: Chronicles had a 3-D intro and cutscenes, so there's no reason to assume that the gameplay of this new game will be 3-D. If the guy from 1-UP had a reliable source that a hi-res 2.5-D game is 1 of 2 options; then there is a 50% chance of that happening.

I love you.

And will you people stop saying "next-gen"? It's CURRENT GEN.

Thank you.  :D

That's no reason not to assume that the gameplay of this game will be 3D. Just because there is a 50% chance it will be 2.5D, it doesn't mean it will happen.

WHAT!?! Are you mentally challenged?

When there is 2 options, and no other factors are known, that means there is a 50% chance of either. That's not an opinion; that's mathematic fact.

Its not really mathematics. It depends on how Igarashi feels. From that, I'm guessing full 3d. Iragashi really wants to get a good fully 3d game out. I doubt he'll go 2.5D because of that.

I'm guessing he wants to say...... It doesn't mean that it won't happen either.
