Topic: Aria-Cotm-HoD which is best?

 this summer, I have the opportunity to get either Aria of sorrow, Circle of the moon, or Harmony of dissonance. Which of these games do you think is the best choice?

if you get the Dual Pack, you can get both HoD and AoS in one cartridge.

what game you should play depends on what you like in a game.  in my opinion CotM has the best action and is a satisfying "twitch reflex" game, but it lacks in the atmosphere department.  it is a great challenge or too difficult for some. 

HoD is a beautiful game and is great if you like zipping around the castle at mach speed with a whip, but can be too easy for some players.  It has many enemies you may be familiar with from Symphony of the Night.  It sacrificed music quality in order to achieve higher graphics than CotM. 

AoS has the greatest amount of RPG elements and a huge arsenol.  It is a lot of fun trying to collect the souls of each of the enemies in the castle, each which gives him a different ability.  it managed to keep the great graphics of HoD (a little darker) while bringing the sound quality back up to the level of CotM.  if to you Castlevania=whipping monsters, AoS is not your game though.

In your title, you listed SotN.  In your post, you listed Hod.  So I guess between SotN and all three GBA games, go for SotN.  But if you're just going for one of the GBA games, go with AoS.

Yeah, get the double pack.   I'd do the same because my saves are filled up.

SotN is the best.  Second is AoS. Third is CotM.  Fourth is HoD.

Harmony of Dissonance or the Doublepack.

Circle of the Moon is awful and Aria on its own just isn't worth it.

Circle of the Moon is easily my favorite out of the three of them, followed by Aria. I couldn't stand Harmony.

Check out CotM if you can find it. It can be pretty hard to find these days.

As far as the GBA games are considered Aos, CotM and HoD in order of favorites.
I don't really care much at all for HoD, infact, it might be my least favorite of the series, still not a terrible game there's just nothing to me that stands out from it.
CotM is alright, but I don't care much for the card system and I feel like the castle is all jumbled together.
I do feel like AoS is the first "Metroidvania" style game to get things right after SotN. It had a pretty interesting story, a good map design, cool characters (including one of the coolest Belmonts), and an interesting game play system.
But those are just my opinions

Well, the way you're saying it makes it sound like i should get aria or the double pack since you keep shooting the other ones in the foot.
