funny Ahasverus i NEVER said the whole game was going to be High Fantasy
as a matter afact someone showed me some nice gothic Castle pictures and a CLEARLY pointed out it looked nice and Castlevania like.
but here you are once again getting pissed for no reason and implying that i am saying LOS sucks and that it has NO dark elements when only a few pages back suggest otherwise lol ;D

One really cool shot was the one of the pedestal where Gabriel gets the Combat Cross. The shadows around it are awesome, like Gabe's the only thing keeping the land from being enveloped in darkness.

I never saw that O.O I've seen the stones with the combat cross shaped on, but I think those are the save game stations or upgrade stones.

Oh shit, you guys... The Cox just confirmed a few areas to be in the Castle.

One guy asked, "Dave Cox the Castle will have a LoS levels for environments of different venues such as clock tower, arena, torture room?"

His response? "Yes... Refectory, Clock tower, Library to name a few..."

A properly done 3D Clock Tower will RAAAAAAAAAAWK.

The funny thing is, I'm more of a metroidvania fan but this is the first non metroid castlevania that i'm seriously excited for.

The idea that we will have a 3d castlevania made to be like the classic games in PROPER 3d with great level design? ZOMG.

Clock tower?....that is gonna be so awesome to see in 3d.... I'm really excited for the library too.

I would really like to have a ball room level in this CV. Since CV 4 I have looked forward to this kind of level because of its elegancy and creepyness. SotN did somewhat include this type of level in Olrox Quarters, but its not the same... the Sorrow games also tried to input this elegant levels but I didnt like it. In resurrection there was going to be a ball room, I was really excited about it, but it was cancelled...

Since this is inspired on CV4 I expect to see again dancing ghouls, tapestry, clasical music and huge chandeliers, there is not other game that has explored this (in 3D Vampire Hunter D only or so I believe).

I'm not really forward to that style boss battle (certainly doesn't remind me of classic Castlevanias, although it does remind me of the Golem boss in The Adventure ReBirth).  But I will certainly give it a try and might find I like it.
