k i'm home now, & i just opened the limited edition.

I just smelled the case, it definately SMELLS like a cv game.

The artbook is attached to the case (lol), & it's mostly CG art & a few illustrations. The Japanese LE comes with WAY more stuff



So yeah, as I've been saying for a while now, the American LE sucks compared to the EU & Japanese editions.

OT, I just played both demos side by side and and couldn't tell a difference in game play. 360 had sharper graphics. Has anyone played the 360 retail version?

I GOT THE GAME ZOMG   I'm perhaps biggest LoS fanboy here so I'm pretty excited and somewhat a little bit looney
I can confirm 360 version has no significant framerate drop in "The Village", only when he says "I'm Gabriel" (Yeah, the silliest part to have a framerate drop ) even the werewolf entrance was improved from the PS3 demo (I've not seen 360 demo yet).
The game has a lot more contrast IRL   the black is darker, and it feels like being a darker title however it's not, only its blacks are blacker and less blue-ish, I simply love the camera and the ound direction, put it this simple, this puts Halo Reach and RDR to shame in audio mixing department. No bias here, is THAt good.

Believe me, you won't miss having control over camera movement.

Nice. I think I will get the 360 version tomorrow. Gabe looks a little more shiny and smooth on the 360 demo I noticed. Not by much though. If you have both systems I would go with the controller you like best.

Got it at midnight, played for 2 hours and completed Chapter one. DAMN....I don't think any PS3 game (fuck, any game for that matter) has impressed me this much. I'm glad I have off from work tomrrow so I can really get into this monster. It's so beautiful, the gameplay is so much fun and involved and that boss battle against the Ice Titan was one of the most epic boss fights I have ever played- and he's only the final boss for CHAPTER ONE!!!! Plus Patrick Stuart narraration really adds to this- plus it feels so fresh with a new storyline but plenty of farmilar nods to the series. Amazing game!!!!
