Good god. It seems like Konami is trying to do everything for this game except advertise it.
It's like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but instead it's Who Wants Fried Chicken? I do.

This is the kind of game that sells by how it looks, however there's no tv ads for it and it's almost halloween, WTF Konami? even fucking "Lucha libre: heroes del ring" is getting tv commercials -__-

Konami must wish the series fail. They want to put it to bed once and for all.

I never take Yahtzee seriously, I expected him to utterly destroy it.  Not as entertaining as his other reviews though.

Yahtzee needs to get punched in the face.  He's essentially the same troll as everyone else, only he has a British Accent so that's supposed to vindicate him or excuse him.  He's yet another shock-value reviewer.  Most of the humor in the reviews he does comes from the stick figure animations that happen as he talks (which is purposefully faster speech than normal just so that you don't notice how lame the gags are or how little he's actually saying even though he uses more words than normal).

The animations really are funny though.

It's weird that he didn't mention Kojima (who he hates) and Patrick Stewart.  Kinda disappointed me that he didn't mention a single positive thing in this one unlike his other reviews, all bile.  Also, he spoiled the game, that's low Yahtzee.

The thing is, he usually makes sense. While he over exaggerates, there is usually some truth to it. But he seems to be slipping, none of his complaints really hit the spot.

That said, anyone know about the cake is alie thing he mentioned? I rarely read the scrolls, so I never caught that.

This is what he always does. Its rare when he says a single good thing about a game.

The fact that people take Yahtzee seriously is hilarious. The guys a comedian, you shouldn't actually believe what he says in these reviews.

Thing is, if you're not looking at the animation, he's not funny at all.
Oh yes, witty one-liners pepper his dialogue, but funny?  I don't think so.  He may get a chuckle out of me every once in a while but a third-rate stand-up comedian gets more out of me.

It's funnier when you see the stick-figure animation of the guy in the hat getting mangled by bear traps or falling into pits.

I actually think his tirade against the game is fine on its own, but the animations definitely complement it and are great. Its the combination of the two that makes his reviews enjoyable. And he is much better than say, the Angry Video Game Nerd.

Agreed. With every single over blown tirade, he usually presents some sort of complaint that makes the viewer go "well, I guess that's kind of true", but in this case it's just a bunch of gripes that never really make any point what so ever.

The whole point of comedy is to mask truth in a laugh, which is why the "It's comedy, guys" line doesn't mean much. If there wasn't any truth to a joke, it wouldn't be funny.

The biggest problem is that the complaints he brings up don't really matter / just aren't true.

Whoa now. I used to think the Nerd was stupid, but then I started watching his stuff and the guy's a riot.

Way better than Yahtzee.
