There are still at least a half dozen major enemies that we're very familiar with.
Although, I'd include Death on that least as a likely candidate.
"Stuff and things."

The press release says that this boss is notorious and that every Castlevania fan is familiar with him.

So, the two guys that appear in (likely) every game are: Dracula and Death.

We could exclude Dracula, because it seems Gabriel becomes Dracula in the future. However, he could fight Dracula and claim his power.

Death is more likely the good one IMO: remember the trailer (or Cornell's speech, I think) "A true warrior who can claim the power of the Lords of Shadow as his own" -> Gabriel got Cornell's speed, Carmilla's flying, but nothing from Zobek/Death-guy. Thanks to all these powers reunited, Gabriel could become Dracula. Plus, in the ending secret future scene, Gabriel asks Zobek where he had been all this time: it could be a hint to the fact Gabriel or Zobek defeated the other one (and never meet until modern times).

Other candidates could be:
- Slogra: he has been a famous boss/enemy since Super Castlevania IV (which is the "bible" of Mr. Cox) and his corpse appears in the end -> Gabriel could have kill him and stay in the chapel for centuries after that.
- A Belmont: Yeah, Belmonts appear in every game (likely) and if Gabriel is possessed by darkness, he could even fight a "good" guy. Simon or Trevor cold be fine. Or not.
- A Cronqvist: Gabriel is a Cronqvist, rejected from his family (according to the site or a guide I think). And in LoI, Mathias Cronqvist becomes Dracula. The two stories might be  connected. Or not.
- Galamoth: Plays with time, and is the enemy of everyone (even Dracula, Aeon, Death, etc.). Why not?

It would be a shame they put a second Satan or another Titan fight, but I think Zobek/Death/Lord of Necromancers will be the one Gabriel will confront.

You know Im starting to come around the likleyhood of fighting Dracula in the DLC since they both take place before Satans return.

But the question is, if we do end up fighting Dracula, who will we be playing as?

Gabriel.

I still think Dracula is Gabriel's dark half.

I don't think she would be in either of these DLCs but I would like to see the LoS take on Medusa.

I wish that if they did that, they went with her original form that apparently nobody knows thanks to certain movie. But looking at the ending statues that is going to be a no surely

They said the 2nd DLC (Resurrection) pack would follow up on the epilogue, it's not that much of a stretch when you think about it.

1st DLC pack (Reverie) is going to be Galamoth or something else.

Dracula isnt the only "notorious" Castlevania boss. may bosses return over and over.

Hell, Legion for one, likes to come back too. Theres a few bosses that could be considered "notorious" for coming back and such.
Laura and Gabriel arrive in the deepest cave of the castle and... they find IGA.

Well Gabriel is Dracula so I doubt there will be two Draculas, and I was pretty sure Zobek is supposed to be Death, so I don't think it will be either of them, maybe another CV villian like Elizabeth Bartley or Shaft
What a horrible night to have a curse!

The only way we would ever see Dracula fight Gabriel is that if he split himself apart like Kami did with Piccolo, and that would be the dumbest thing ever.

Finally some has made this reference.  I was going to, but I didn't know if anyone else would understand it.  It as the same with all the Lords of Shadow.  Though I don't think that it will have anything to do with the first DLC.  In it Gabriel is suppose to return to the castle and aid Laura in defeating an ancient evil that was kept in check by Carmilla's presence.  Given that she was able to keep it in check, this evil can't be anymore powerful than Carmilla was.  Well, she probably had the help of Brauner and Olrox to help her.  I believe it is said somewhere that they were traitors that sided with Carmilla when she came to the castle.

Even if this evil is Galamoth, it doesn't mean it will be a titan battle.  For all we know, this version of Galamoth could be shorter than Gabriel.

What if this power is another being that is known as 'Dracul'. After the battle, it's powers enter Gabriel allowing him to inherit it's strength...making him the 'son of Dracul'....or 'Dracula'
