Well the main webpage has some song playing in the background. Wouldn't that be an official track. I mean its more of an ambient type track but it sounds nice.

That's FALSE!
Remember, that track was made by Geoffrey Gunn when the trailer was just relased, it's not ripped, NOT AT ALL! It's a fan interpretation (And some rip off to The Dark Knight like a Dog Chasing cars http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_hZIvVcDnec )
So, I repeat again, THAT IS NOT AN OFFICIAL LORDS OF SHADOWS TRACK, IT IS FANMADE.
Even more,.here is the original topic

Thanks a lot.

Not being harsh though most people would think you were given your use of caps and commanding use to words (I took the liberty of bolding and italicizing  the ones I mean) causing you to come off strong. I was using slight humor to deflect and segway into  the my thoughts on the interview you so kindly provided.

So with that said moving onto what else we know like the camera and sound of LOS.

Well they said theres a strong and weak whip attack kind of like lament of innocence..but it was also mentioned that the right analog will be used for precision aiming?...

Maybe the analog will be used for when you swing across platforms in the game. That would be cool.

Im actually quite curious to know just how that is going to work and feel using the right analog stick to swing my whip for certain actions.

This kinda worries me... I sure hope they know what they're doing...
I like to press buttons, but I'm open to new stuff if executed well.

Well I'm pretty sure they said, buttons will be used for attacks analog will be used for swinging across platforming sections and precision aiming to those attach thingies.. So no worries.

I could be wrong tho.

Regarding analog stick controls: The sword weapon in the latter part of "Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty" was swung via analog stick. It was interesting, though not always 100% accurate when trying to hit an enemy multiple times.

Yeah didn't care for that, Gray Fox's controls were a lot better in VR missions.

without camera control, i now know that this is not the game i have been waiting for.  too bad.  i now get to look forward to wasting a lot of time jumping up and down and moving all over the place in order to see something i want to see like i did in LoI.  oh well.

it's great for "keeping the game moving", which is obviously what they're going for, but bad for smelling the roses.  better luck next game.

Yeah at least lament of innocence looked great and you wanted to see things in the environment. Curse of darkness with the free roaming had crappier environments.

I think fixed camera angles makes for a more visually appealing game because they can focus more on the images shown, where a full camera they have to work on EVERYTHING, which can be grating and some developers get lazy.

Also off topic a little bit, here is a little definition I found for a word I'm most of you are aware of called retcon.

Retroactive continuity (often shortened to retcon) is the deliberate changing of previously established facts in a work of serial fiction.[1] Retconning may be carried out for a variety of reasons, such as to accommodate sequels or further derivative works in the same series, to reintroduce popular characters, to make a reboot of an old series more relevant to modern audiences, or to simplify an excessively complex continuity structure.

Though Cox has stated that Lords of Shadow will not be part of the old time line he hasn't really came out and said that it wouldn't replace it either but IGA is still at Konami and obviously was credited in Castlevania The Adventure ReBirth. We also know he is working on a new project whether or not that new project is a new castlevania for the DSi or other system we do not know.

Just some food for thought course it could just be some useless information.

Yes

Yes to what?

If to me then yes to it being food for thought or useless lol??

Also if this is not replacing the series original time line then you can think of it as Castlevania's very own Ultimate universe. Dont know if that is a good thing or a bad thing.
