...And there you have the three main pieces of CVLOS.
-A lot more than a chain
Whip combat is fundamental to the personality of Castlevania (People use to think that Cv copied GOW, but CV was around a lot of time before that, with chain whip and all) and it will be present here. However, this is not a game where you fight against an enemy until it dies and then go to ne next room, until the end of phase. The new combat system requires mor participation and skill from the player to take the right decisions, you have to block, attack, evade, move, choose the right strategy, the right weapon, modify it in the best way possible.
This is not an RPG, but we'll have a main weapon, a secondary weapon, all of them can be upgraded, and a combo list those can be purchased in exchange of EXP points. This, plus "Relics", that can be found through the stages and give upgrades to the character.
The combat system is not a button smasher, is very tactic and espectacular. This is the main reason why LOS will be liked by action fans. And of course, puzzles and platafforming, not present in the most of games of the genre.

This is not God of war
People use to compare CV to GOW, when this happens, Cox says that Cv is far more real. "It's not over the top, Gabriel is a powerful warrior but also has internal struggles, a dark side, a sad part inside of him. We've tried to show this through the game, we think we are more mature than God of War".
Comparisons are expected, because in each trailer show...
