Reminds me of the Stone King Golem from Lament of Innocence. Also, CV has been doing giants long before fucking God of War. I don't know what some of you people are smoking, but some of you seriously need to take some of it, and plug it up your asses.

Woah waoh woah! Wii is not equally as good as the other 2. Almost all the good games are 1st party made, the others... not so much.

Anywho, we don't need more screen shots, we need a 10 minute intro gameplay vid.

Why buy a ps3 just for this game? There are plenty of other reasons to do so...

Yes there are, and I have many other games I plan to enjoy as well. I've been putting off buying a PS3 for quite awhile now. I shouldn't say LoS is my SOLE reason for buying it, rather once it was announced PS3 was getting a CV, it really made my decision final.

I meant the whole thing in this screenshot screams ( Yeah, we've ripped that from GOW series , have a problem pal ? ).

Uncharted, Shadow of collosus, GOW and Prince of Persia. What's next ? .. let me think for a second ...hmmmmm yeah, Big Boss as a revived Dracula and this would be a shocking ending lolz.

Massive Stealth never ends ... NEVER!
So... what?? I mean, all those games you mentioned were inspired by CV one way or another, it seems that you don't know a hell ab out CV history, we'd been having giant bosses since the NES times, with current technology can make bigger bosses.. is that a bad thing?? NO WAY. The art direction lloks different yes, but, does it look bad? hell, even bland?? NO IT DOESN'T IT LOOKS AMAZING.

That's the most-amazing-thing I've seen EVER in a Castlevania... it looks sooo epic, too much, and there are 4 of those! God, I just can't imagine the last boss battle, it will be heaven!  ;D

To hell with it being Castlevaniaish, I-DON'T-CARE!! Epic game is epic being Castlevania or not, and hey, this thing is Castlevaniax100 before my eyes  :D

So we've seen 2 of the supposed 4 Titans...Ice and Stone. I guess we are to assume they are all elemental-types? Cuz I'm thinking if there's a Flame Titan that's just gonna be fucking awesome! Could be similar to the Balrog from Lord of the Rings  8)

The point is ...define castlevania'ish.. Some of you are getting ridiculous with what defines castlevania... For effs sake we had a castlevania where you would go in paintings in be in weird locations like egypt...

I mean we had an EGYPTIAN STONE enemy, was THAT castlevania ish? ....

jesus some of you need to jump off a huge cliff and realize this stuff has been in castlevania for forever. Even super castlevania 4 had a giant rock type enemy, not just that the setting this enemy is located in is within a foggy forest. A foggy forest isn't castlevania like? What castlevanias have you kids even played?

Going over the new posts, wow quite a bit of group discussion.
I am however on the side of "this looks awesome!"

Seeing how diverse, and epic they want to take the series. I say "yes!"
If Ninja Gaiden can gain an awesome "rebirth". So too can CV =D

Why?

Because the Golem looks like is ripped straight out of a fantasy epic. Even the developers admit it, the game is a dark fairy tale, which Castlevania isn't and never was.

They nail the Castle areas though, but the world they try to create outside of it feels nothing like it. Perhaps because they wanted to go for a certain contrast but I sure am not liking that approach.

Some of you guys are cracking me up, jeez! I am impressed with the art direction and choices. The golem design is interesting and different enough from other games/films. And the elemental theme would be great. CV was doing elemental themes before alot of other games.

Naysayers - you're going to be wrong on this game. There is just too much passion and money going this time around, and after the past 3d failures, they are'nt going to fail on next-gen. Look at all we have seen so far just in these teaser days, the voice talent, the honor Cox has for the old CV roots, all that..

And E3 is very close, we will be wowed sooner that we know it by video we see from that :)

He wasn't stone, but Galamoth was sort of Egyptian-ish too.

For all the people Biyatching saying this game's enemies are out of a fantasy or don't look castlevania like..

Maybe you should visit this page and remember the enemies within castlevania- http://castlevania.wikia.com/index.php?title=Special:NewFiles&from=20080816172305

Various enemies that have been within castlevania:
Harpies
a pixie familiar
Iron golem
a stone golem
an egyption one
a maid that attacks you
a woman that is part plant
frankenstein
the mummy
vampires - orlock for instance
Werewolves
little hunchbacks called fleamen
witches
A rock guy who's arm isn't connected to his body
Zombies..

What's my point? My point is castlevania basically uses EVERYTHING it always has.... Fantasy creatures, horror creatures, mythological creatures and if you have missed that all these years than maybe you aren't that much of a fan to begin with.

Then there's the well they don't make it look like the creatures of old games than I respond by saying are you looking at the same pics as me because they look better than what I could have imagined.

The skeletons look creepy, the wargs looks almost identical to it's sotn/rondo counterpart, the suite of armor in the trailer looks very nice, along with these giant titans that remind me of the many GIANT titan like bosses throughout the castlevania series.

I just don't know what it is you want out of this game because we seem to be getting all we could want ( if you are a hardcore castlevania fan and not a sotn fanboy)...

Why can't some people have to defend absolutely every detail of this game and don't respect someone else's goddamn opinion?  :(
