60 fps usually means better controls too because of the heightened responsiveness too, and usually more of an emphasis on efficiency in its development. imo, more fluidity is better for visuals than pretty locales. but yeah, opinion.
well, tried the demo. i guess a minor irritation of mine is that i'm forced to play at the pace the game wants me to. my usual style of play for a 3D Castlevania is kill everything in site, then walk around the place for a few minutes and soak up the environment. well, not only can i not aim the camera around to see what i want to see, but i can't even stop and admire the backgrounds peacefully without an enemy disturbing me. as soon as you kill the last enemy, a cut scene sweeps you off to your next encounter. i respect what they did to keep the pace of the game going, but i do look forward to the next game that is made that allows me to do these things. something else along those lines is the fact that there's only one time in the demo where i could practice the moves in peace - just before the first health fountain. and i didn't have many moves at that point. maybe this is all just peculiar to the tutorial section?
Hey, how does the atmosphere compare to Castlevania 64/Legacy of Darkness? Does it play with a spooky, medieval vibe?
IGn review is just flooded with commentaries, and.... the review was just deleted from Youtube... getting re-review?
Yeah, but they re-uploaded it, deleting all the comments... i'm like, really? IGn, really?Got something to say to that asshole (Universal consensus)? here's where http://people.ign.com/daemon-ign
Those who PLAY Castlevania may be biased, but I am sure it'd be more accurate, objective, and enlightening to listen to than these Yahoos.
Hay, I have a YAHOO account so don't smear Yahoo's name by associating it with those guys!
And that, my friends, is an ironic case of how a negative review can get people fired from their jobs. Not developers this time, but an editor, LOL.
He got fired?
