it was amusing the first time but here it just feels cheap, I was hoping for a much better playable Simon than a clashing 8bit version.

Nostalgia is one thing but this is ridiculous in my opinion.

They really should have used a updated Sprite for Simon and maybe released the 8 bit version MUCH later to add the nostalgia feel in after you have already enjoyed playing as Simon.

Also

I'm still wondering when they are finally going to reveal Trevor Belmont.

People are always quick to point out "red hair" as being the first in a line of problems with Kojima's Simon. I personally believe the red hair was not the problem at all. His costume is the problem. Had he kept his red hair and wore similar leather armor to the original art, I doubt people would be whining.
