  I'm guessing it will appear on PSN without an annoucement beforehand (unless Sony/PSN mentions it in their website,  sometimes they mention what's coming to the PSN Store.)   Some are guessing it might be released sometime August.  It would be surprising if it releases earlier than that.

(Also thinking about it for more Shanoa action, and the PS3 has a far better controller for this. Ugh, why why why why why; so starved for new CV action. I bring shame to all.)

Charlotte has no exclusives unfortunately.  She doesn't really make a great main, since while playing with her, you won't be winning any rares.  I guess with the exception of some Chapter 7 rares ...

If so, then i guess I'm a sinner as well. I've been replaying just about any 2D 'vania in my possession and am ready for something new....well, kind of new.

Seems it was the plan of Konami all along - to not release any new 2D games, so in the end people will buy mediocre HD to sate they hunger for old school metroidvanias.

That's like choosing a really crappy game with excellent graphics over a really good game that has crappy graphics.

Not just the graphics, but the characters themselves were butchered & unbalanced.

And there's a lack of effort, which is why people dislike this game.

It's more than just the graphics that people complained about. Subweapon grinding is extremely tedious and a lot of rare item drops are much rarer than they really needed to be (both of which could've been done to artificially extend replay value), all characters are nerfed to some extent except for Soma, and the game just feels uninspired overall (especially when you compare it with games that share the same price tag, like Torchlight).

Graphics-wise, the only thing I didn't really like was how it was implied that this game was in HD, and that's kind of misleading.

but isn't this game a co-op game, not a fighting game? so balance shouldn't really be an issue.

HD wasn't gonna be a legit title, it was an experiment but konami didn't expect it to blow up like that.
