Just because it's not a carbon copy, doesn't mean it's not extremely similar. Next you'll be telling me that Samus in MP looks almost nothing like Samus from the original Metroid, because the original had a flat yellow tone, but MP Samus's outfit is more metallic and sectioned like traditional armor.

Sure and why not make it 3D with LoS graphics.  Combat would be similar to LoI in that all you would have is a whip as the main weapon with two types of attacks (weak and controlled, powerful and wild) and of course the classic subweapons.  No complex combos and plenty of swinging like the original.  And, of course, it would be stage by stage like LoS.  No arena combat like LoS.

This should be the epitome of 3D classicvania and also will likely be very well received by CV fans.

I Love Simon, and I would love to see more games with him, Also I would find pretty interesting to see a game with a younger Simon like some of the old Artworks.

or hell, the people in-between Leon and Trevor. They didn't hunt Dracula, but that doesnt mean they didnt track him and kill other things along the way. Such as other possible final boss characters.

LOL. I started something here and I like it! Those asses are definitely epic and I would die laughing if I saw a Simon sprite literally hauling ass without use of his feet. ^___^
