Yeah, and Battle of the Holy was more deserving of the first stage theme, but they didn't use that one either. -_-
Couldn't imagine THIS in an Yamaha arrangement...Maybe for the better.

Castlevania The Adventure Rebirth: Battle Of The Holy (UNUSED)

actually, they did compose it, but never used it.

they also did Lost Painting too, but not as good as this version of Battle of the Holy.

I still really like the selection of tunes on ReBirth. They're all pretty obscure material. Well, compared to the likes of Bloody Tears and Vampire Killer. It's just great they that remixed what they did.

Wow. I thought the ReBirth unused tracks were common knowledge.
Then again common knowledge for me isn't necessarily common knowledge, since the people I hang out with know all sorts of weird shit... ^.^;;

I've heard about Lost Painting, but not about BotH.
Not very good remix I'd say. Typically Genesis-like.

Yeah, but the point was to make it seem like an old arcade game. All the ReBrith titles have that sort of sound. And has been stated by others, the old Konami arcade games sound similar to the Genesis. Just compare it to the Haunted Castle OSV and you'll hear the similarity immediately.

Not exactly.
Haunted Castle music sounds much more softer, deeper and mostly without this jarring clanking that typical for the Genesis music. Some of the tracks even closer in the sound to the NES / SNES music rather then Genesis. Like Don't Wait Until the Night for example. While it's still sounds heavily synthesized it's sounding much softer and sounds are more varied.

with PS Home updating

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/08/23/the-next-evolution-for-playstation-home-coming-fall-2011/

what if Konami adds a Castlevania home space similiar to Siren Ward of Despair and other franchises spaces that are filled with authentic atmosphere and fun reach-the-exit game to play with friends?

Well Konami does have an arcade space on Home, but it would be interesting to add a Castlevania space complete with outdoor (similiar to the gate in Castlevania 1 intro and Rondo's flying dragon boss fight location), and indoor of the castle (perhaps entrance hallway?)

That would be very cool!  And maybe a maze minigame with Castlevania costumes and familiars as prizes!

I check out HOME every few months and the place is always packed and I remember Sony saying it has been successful for them too. I'd probably check it out more if there was something in it that interests me. Didn't they just recently add SotN shirts for your avatar?

true I was into the 360, but all my friends who had ps3s didn't use it, I can see why.
Its just a chatroom with avatars, and overpriced digital furniture
