This video made ma day. Im will get it. Thats what i want and i guess many others 2. A classic 2d and even 3d game with nice graphics and HD (:

There was a Demo out for a month where u played remastered Green Hill Zone, but they said, the physics on Sonic himself were crap. Never played the demo, but i hope they will fix it.
You always will go back to old good classic games.

Oh my God, I think the Sonic franchise has been saved. This is brilliant. I'm totally up for this.

On a similar note, the 2.5D chemical plant.... You know how things look better when you're a kid? Well, that looks just like how I saw it whenever I was a kid playing it on the genesis.
über excited.

The Franchise became good again with colors, and by the look of it it gonna be alot like it too with the red rings.
Now that one masterpiece was made for the wii, the next masterpiece should be for EVERYTHING.
Plus 3DS has alternate levels and such.

so its PC + 3DS for me.

Hpefully they manage red rings better than in colors. id be good with just collecting them all- not with then playing a sonic sim or some shit.

you do know Sonic Sim unlocks Chaos emeralds which unlock Super Sonic?

Besides, its a hell of a lot better than the fucking Green Hill Zone in SA2, Spending so much time getting Emblems for a really half-assed stage.

Sonic colors red ring system was horrible. terrible. yyou have to play every single stage to death and back, then play the over again in the sonic sim. THEN you get super sonic. By the time you get him, the novelty wears off quickly because you are sick of the stages.

Damn, Sonic Generations looks even more promising now. Now I really can't wait for it to come out.

I agree.

I just can not see why they could not go back to the old style of getting emeralds like the Classic games.

Such as having to play a special stage and then getting the emeralds.

After all this is supposed to be based of the classic style of Sonic Gameplay and levels.

But besides the obvious Red Rings worries, this game looks freaken fantastic! ;D

I am loving what I am seeing from both Sonic characters, especially Modern Sonic.

Still waiting for them to finally show us some gameplay of Stardust Speedway or Sky Santuary.

well, I think the red Rings reward something different since the 3DS version announced Different special Stages as opposed to having special stages.

Well, this is a day one buy for me. It's funny too, cause I've honestly have had no interest in Sonic games period ever since Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on the Gamecube. That was the last Sonic game I played until I played the demo of Sonic Generations.  :)

Then you really should check out Sonic Colors.

Its pretty awesome and not to mention the fact that the Modern Sonic's gameplay is based off Sonic Colors.

You are missing out.

Try Unleashed, Colors, an maybe Heroes. Shadow was an odd game, but it's definitely worth trying too. Especially if you played SA2. (its more or less a sequel to SA2's story, or at least tries to be)

Heroes is the 2nd best of the Bad 3d Sonic era, the only issue that makes the game unplayable at times is falling through the stages, its probably just me, but I fell through the ground so many times I was in a pure rage state at times, besides that, the game is Great!, the multiple characters have variation and the story has metal sonic... sorta...
Great game, but this was one that you wish Patching existed back then.

Shadow the Hedgehog, Fucking stupid, this is 5 steps away from the 2006 Sonic game.
Starring a Brooding Shadow, who Broods about not remembering a Past worth Brooding over. Kill me please...
The Camera cannot Keep up with you, and mind you this game was in PS2 era, and it was a NES era problem.
I can get Shadow with guns, but Vehicles Make no sense when you can OUTRUN THEM.
the multiple endings and story variations were a very good idea, too bad they put it in a shitty game.

Unleashed wasn't too bad, The Controls are very off for a sonic game but the Running Stages are really awesome.... until...
You Transform into the werehog, first impression is "Fucking Sweet, I'm gonna do some collateral damage!", NOPE!
Aside from your Rubber Limbs, Were-Sonic gets De-buffed very Dramatically, the enemies you breeze with like a Jump now requires 20 hits.
that's the only problem, aside from that its a pretty good beat em up, but it would have made more sense to make a new Character for those parts.

Sonic 2006, an abomination starring Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks. oh yeah, BEASTIALITY! not only was this game Terrible, but it was also gross.

Sonic's Story book games (7 rings, Black knight), I heard they were okay, but I also heard they suck, didn't bother since I gave up on Sonic all together after 2006.

I recommend Unleashed and Heroes, but for the love of god do NOT play shadow, its the Highlander 2 of shadow's mythos

Then I might have to check out Sonic Colors. I keep hearing great things about it.

I've watched my nephew play some of Heroes before, but it really didn't appeal to me very much. I know nothing about Unleashed or Shadow the Hedgehog. I've heard that Shadow the Hedgehog was terrible though. Kamui Zero's response to Shadow the Hegdehog is pretty much what I've heard about it, so I might try it at some point, but I'd rather try some of the others first that people say are pretty good. I'll probably be looking into Unleashed and Colors. I'm pretty sure my nephews have Unleashed, so I could probably borrow that and try it out. One of my nephews is a HUGE Sonic fan. They literally have just about every newer Sonic game out there. I'm hoping they have Colors too so I can try it out.

for all the bitching people do about 06, it still felt like the adventure style though. And it HAD potential. too bad.

Shadow well, it isnt the best Sonic game. but the music and gameplay isnt too bad. Although gameplay is completely diffwerent from Heroes, it uses the Heroes engine.

I liked it, but I cant really hate any sonic/Megaman game.
