As for the drawing, it looks good. But for some reason it reminds me too much of strider hiryuu...

To be honest I'm really not into Grant looking like a japanese ninja.

I have always though of him a agile european pirate.

But its still a nice picture.

I decided to take a crack at Simon's design (rough sketch for the most part), which has some borrowed element designs of the Judgement version and the PS1 remake version. Can't say its the most unique looking, but I wanted Simon to look as close to the PS1 version as possible without it being a direct copy of his outfit from there.

Though personally Simon's Judgement costume seems alright to me anyways xD

Ultraman? hmm... the Ultraman series and Castlevania don't really mix well, for one their size difference, then second the obscure series (though I do know about the series, not much but I know the series xD). When I say obscure, I mean not many in the western countries would know of Ultraman.

Least with that Skull knight robot I can picture a fightable size against Castlevania characters, but Ultraman is a tad hard to picture xD

Really?, I wouldn't call it an Anime style since it was never Animated, plus there is too much effort in her paintings for such a brand.

Hmm, who did the opening animation for dawn of sorrow though? Not really familiar with which artist did what, but that one definitely had an anime like direction. Have the game too, just need to get around to playing through it (just finished Aria of Sorrow).

Since that Dawn of Sorrow played much similar to its predecessor, I can assume the game is pretty good still - least in my opinion. And a good number of people love Soma so I don't see how an anime art direction will effect how the character is viewed. Julius is another good example, least from how many people I've seen favorite him alot. Shouldn't it just come down to how the character is presented in game by the actions they preform?
