Vita can eat it with that useless Guitar Hero Trackpad shit.
THE 3DS HAS TRIGGERS
Let it be known to the brothers and the Haters...
The 3DS has fucking Triggers.

I think I'll pass on this. Peripherals for handhelds are usually pretty silly anyway.

I'm guessing Sony will enjoy much better Vita sales and a much stronger launch than the 3DS launch debacle.

I doubt that, I honestly don't believe people are gonna dig into that bullshit Vita where the highlight is a Tv remote and PS3 games you probably already have.
I was impressed with the Vita at first, but what Sony is doing with it is absolutely Gimmicky and needless.
Cause I'm gonna pay $100 on buying the same game twice JUST to play it on a handheld.

You're letting your personal opinion/bias speak for everyone else. Not everyone feels the same way about the Vita. The specs look superb, the price isn't bad at all and the games look to be entertaining, moreso than what 3DS is offering. I own a 3DS too but let's face it, it's not the "must-have" handheld Nintendo expected it to be. Vita will be a nice alternative to those that don't like 3D.

And about "spending $100 to buy the same game twice," Nintendo does the same shit with all those N64/SNES ports so that's a moot point.

I concur with Crisis that your post is bias. Like Sony, Nintendo loves to milk stuff - there are like 4 DS systems, 3 GBA, and a buttload of different Gameboy models. I'll just wait for the next 3ds model since I am certain that model will have a built-in slide pad.

True that Sony does the same thing with the different system models.

Don't get me started with Nintendo releasing two similar, but different versions of Pokemon at the same time.  Also, the features on the 3ds isn't gimmickly and needless?  Last I have heard, the 3ds isn't doing well right now; the major complaint about the system is that the 3d feature, the main selling point, is gimmickly and needless; most of the games released on the 3ds are games you can already get on the ps3 or the n64, but with 3d!  How is that any different than what Sony is doing with the vita? The slidepad is most likely in development to increase 3ds sales.

3ds sales are acutally very strong.

Still waiting on the inevitable revision that adds this peripheral's stuff.

I'm having trouble deciding between the Vita and 3DS. On one hand... Ys games and ability to download earlier PSP stuff... on the other hand... Resident Evil Revelations...

Shit is ridiculous. Nintendo got lazy. 3DS is a ridiculous hardware, released too early.

Yes, dual analog is important, but they had to add that shit in the start. PSP has been out for AGES, and people have been complaining about one analog since the release. Monster Hunter fans have claw fingers because of this.

I'm waiting for the revision with it. But if I had a 3DS, I would buy one, just because aiming with stylus is pure shit, IMO. I'll never like it.

At least in games department Nintendo is starting to show what had to be done from the start: games. Shit had the worst launch I ever saw in my life.

@Kamui Zero
Compared to DS, no, they're really weak. Even compared to PSP they're weak. Japan haven't sold even 2m yet.

And PLEASE guys: STOP WITH THIS BULLSHIT ARGUMENT OF CONSOLE GAMES ON HANDHELD. Goddamit, I hate when I read that from Nintendo fans, as the console best selling game isn't a fucking remake of a console game, which would be better on a Console. And most of the upcoming games for it would be better on consoles too. And to finish, 3DS is just as much Vita full of ports and remakes.
It's normal to have ports and remakes early on the system. Even then, Vita is full of new IP and sequels that will pottentially be available for launch in the west.

3ds sales are acutally very strong.

Now that's bias.  The 3DS is doing very poorly for a Nintendo product.  So poorly to the point where Nintendo had to slash the price of the system; it has been reported on various online sites that the system is doing terrible than expected.

If the 3Ds sales are actually very strong like you claimed it to be, why did Nintendo opted to decrease the price of the system from 250 to 170.  That is quite a price decrease for such a new system.

References to back up my claim that 3ds sales are poor.

I'm a little upset that I didn't wait on purchasing the 3ds, as there will most likely be a revision to it now. It was stupid of me to believe Nintendo when they said they don't have any plans for one, only to have this "thing" announced several months later. Delaying the 3ds to add an additional slide pad would have been a MUCH better option.

Optional would be best since only 2 games are compatable (MGS3 and Monster Hunter 3DS)
I would understand the need of revision IF all games were compatable.

There are 6 games that will be compatible, not 2.

Resident Evil Revelations, Kingdom Hearts 3D, Musou vs, Ace Combat are included too.

Also, you have to use AAA battery to recharge it. A FUCKING AAA battery, in 2011.

yeah... a AAA Battery, or would you spend more money on the Peripheral just on a lithium battery?

6 Games sounds nice, And I'm itching to play KH Especially now I seen screens of Riku's Haircut and Sora's new clothes
RE ended with 4, but that's another story.

I have full confidence in the 3DS mostly because the library is mostly Original games and not lazy Ports and Spin-offs *Cough* Vita needs original IPs or it'll fail *cough*

Huh!? Of course it's YES. 2011. Aiming with stylus is horrible. I would pay $20 dollars for a better solution than AAA batteries.

Also, you're wrong about the Vita. But I'll answer that in the other post.

BTW I'm pretty sure you either don't have a 3DS, Aiming with a Stylus is long gone, its Replaced with a Super Accurate and Much more fun motion aiming.
Try out Zelda 64 3D, the motion Aiming NEEDS to be on a FPS.

Besides, Most of the Original IPs for the Vita are more fit as mini-games rather than a real game, But TGS cured that with a Few Great Games.
