I can't believe there's no new castlevania news. nothing official at least. I remember being able to beat one the castlevanias for gba and then read an article that another one was one the way. what happen to the good old days? we seriously need a new 2d style castlevania.

It's not what you asked for but, Konami gave you Harmony of Despair.

That said, they should at LEAST crank out some new DLC maps and characters whilst we wait for word on further entries from the series.
How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

Im kinda leaning on it being called Castlevania: Prince of Darkness.

And im guessing that Konami has reinforced their pipes so that there will be no more leaks, normally we would get something right around this time like a trademarked name or a leaked screenshot. Now we have to wait for them to offically announce something, which is either at their own event or at E3.

I'll take Super Castlevania V  ;D a proper follow-up to the best damned game on the SNES!

It would be interesting, if someone finally dared to make Castlevania 5. But I doubt it will happen. This game must...something awesome.

I do miss seeing articles for upcoming handheld CVs. Although, I remember thinking OoE looking terrible when the first screens were leaked. Now it's one of my favorite games.

New DLC for Adventure Rebirth.

I have a feeling we will see something before the end of the month. Definitely by the end of March.

Play Dark Souls. Most Castlevania fun you'll have this generation.

i think now would be a good time for them to at least give us any of the three Game Boy games on the Virtual Console on the Nintendo 3DS just to hold us over.  or i'll take a 3D classic version of any of the three NES Castlevania games.  my poor, Castlevania-less 3DS...

I've got another variant - Komajou Densetsu 1 and 2 - old school Castlevania gameplay with SOTN-like aesthetics.
