3DS or PS Vita?

I was thinking about this earlier. If there were gonna be a new handheld castlevania game, which system would you rather see it come out for. I'm thinking the ps vita only because I would love to see the crisp hd graphics on the handheld system. Who am I kidding, at this point I'd be excited if they announced a new vania title for the Atari lynx.

Well if it's a metroidvania, I'd prefer it to have the same visual style of the previous DS games, so for that I choose 3DS.

PSVita, only if they remake the "Alucardvania" for it  8)

i'm biased towards the 3DS, since i have one.  but i would be interested in a full 3D game on the 3DS.  i'd be fine if it was made by Mercury Steam.  i also wouldn't mind a downloadable Castlevania ReBirth-like game with simple 3D layers.

if it were a full-metroidvania, i guess i'd still hold out hopes for one of those coming to a console.  but i'd take it on a handheld if i had to.  i don't feel a lot of need for a Metroidvania to be in 3D, so i'd just as soon have it be on the Vita.

3DS if they want to make money.

Gimme a classic styled Castlevania too like ReBirth on the 3DS eShop.

I'd probably say Vita just because of its hardware alone, but I haven't seen any games for either of the handhelds to convince me to buy one or the other. Man, I hope that changes.
It's like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but instead it's Who Wants Fried Chicken? I do.

If you want a castlevania game on a handheld your best option is always going to be a nintendo handheld. Think about this for a moment. How many castlevania games were released on every nintendo handheld? And how many castlevania games were released for other handhelds combined? And how much better were the castlevania games on the nintendo handhelds than the other handhelds?

That should pretty much sum things up for you right there.

Personally I am looking forward to 3D castlevania over HD graphics on a screen so small they don't matter. The 3DS 3D graphics are amazing for a handheld on games that use N64 textures because of the resolution tightening things up and making those old textures much much more crisp. Something with newer textures should be outstanding.

I would love to have something good to say about the sony handhelds but after owning a PSP that collects dust I just can't. It is a shame considering the hardware isn't bad and the games aren't really all that bad either. Hell the lineup for the PSP really is awesome and the prices are great but for some reason that system does not appeal to me at all. I feel the vita would be no better. My PS2 collects dust but that was because the lineup sucked balls and the hardware was subpar as well. That caused me to not buy a PS3. I wouldn't buy an xbox 360 after my initial xbox experience either though. But I own a Wii and  3DS and both of my kids have a DSi because nintendo hasn't ever let me down to date. Sure I don't care for the Wii lineup so much but it is a great family system that everyone can jump in on and play. But that 3DS rocks my socks. Eagerly awaiting the Wii-U as well.

Maybe you should just stop playing video games altogether.

I think you need a new hobby. Clearly you have absolutely no sense of quality when it comes to games or consoles.

I hope they develop a CV on the 3DS. I am biased because I own one, but Nintendo handhelds do have a much better track record than Sony's.  I owned a PSP and DS last gen, and outside of a few PSP titles my DS got way more play time.  I don't see my self owning two current gen handhelds again this time and I've already invested in the 3DS.

*RAGE*

Actually, I have no 3DS or plans to buy one. Or a Vita, at least for a while.

Yes I am a troll because my opinion is different than your. Truly that is the definition of trolling right? So any time you disagree with another person are they trolling you?

I gave my opinion but I backed it up with facts. 6 games vs 1 I think the nintendo hardware is a better choice for future castlevania games. My opinion of sony vs nintendo aside. Happy?

I'd say 3DS because I'm getting one for RE Revelations at some point.

And if it's a 3D game, just put it on a console.
