THAT SAID, having just watched the trailer (I hadn't when I just replied), I'm underwhelmed as well. The character drawings and animations all look nice, but the environments are too plasticky and stale.
Oh yeah, and also:

Soda as well.

These days Capcom only do good games with retro chars when someone makes the game instead of them and they simply put their logo. Like in Project x Zone.

I'm in that for the namco characters

Tales of for the freaking win.

Vesperia none the less.  :)

WOW!! I hope this trend stays up with more classic NES titles! The possibilities of the games that we could get!

Bingo, you saw what I did. Just worded it better than I did.

I've also saw it, but still it's better than nothing.

Okay, seemingly Capcom let slide that they are also thinking about doing Remasters for Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck and Aladdin(SNES one), IF this one does good. Here's hoping it does!

Watch live video from Capcom-Unity on TwitchTV
You can barely hear the Transylvania music.
The guy SUCKS at the game, but it looks like the enemy patterns are the same as the original.
The boss battle is very Castlevania-ish, since it's against Magicka DeSpell. :D

BTW, NOTICE the Metroidvania-style map briefly shown upon the end of the puzzle when Scrooge says "I've solved the puzzle" when he gets to the mirror room.

Upon announcement, at NeoGAF, I heard Disney's being more lenient regarding other developers making games for them, more or less LIKE the "old days" with Capcom and such. Well, interesting thing came to light. Seemingly Capcom was trying(for a while) to get this ball rolling, and it was actually DISNEY who suggested WayForward for the project. That's pure awesomness right there!:

Quote
Sven from Capcom USA pretty much explained that it was Capcom USA that got this game together. They've been trying for a few years to get the license and Disney recommended Way Forward for the game which Capcom eventually agreed to.

And after seeing the comparison with the new Magicka and original one, they actually added a LOT to her attack patterns. Wow! That's the kind of love I enjoy seeing. And I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought of Castlevania when that map popped up.  :)

Well, they DID do that one Blaster Master on the Wii(WiiWare). Though I agree, there's quite a LOT of classic/dead franchise I'd love to see brought back, if for the purpose of breaking up the monotony and adding more "choices" to gaming in general.
