I wouldn't say MoF drove a stake through CV, or implies a stake should be driven through CV. The reviewer kept dissing on the game and justifiably so, much to his credit. Still, it should have been simply stated at the end that MercurySteam is not the company best suited to keep the classic Castlevania franchise alive; MS might have a strong grasp on 3D games, but are lacking in the platforming department. It'd be a fair review without slamming the cover down upon the franchise like his title did.
