If anyone can recommend me japanese games for PS3, please. It's better if they're translated to english, but if they aren't, that doesn't prevent me from trying to play them anyway.

So far, I've played these:

Atelier Rorona, Atelier Totori, Atelier Ayesha, Atelier Meruru, Arcana Heart 3, Battle Fantasia, BlazBlue (3 games), Catherine, Mamorukun, Ar Tonelico Qoga, Hyperdimension Neptunia, Neptunia MK2, Neptunia V, Suzumiya Haruhi No Tsuyoi, Touch Shot Love Application, Sangoku Hime 2, Cross Edge, Trinity Universe, Mugen Souls, Disgaea 3 and 4, Dragon's Crown, Enchanted Arms, Last Rebellion, Trinity, FF13, FF13-2, Tears To Tiara (2 games), Record of Agarest War 1 and 2, Soul Calibur 4 and 5, Ni No Kuni, Toki To Towa, Tales of Graces F, Tales of Xillia 1 and 2, Star Ocean 4, Valkyria Chronicles, Folklore, Resonance of Fate, White Album, Disorder 6, Dunamis 15 (these last 2 I already have and I'll play soon).

If anyone can recommend me some anime games I'll be glad, because I'm currently trying to play some games in japanese because I don't know where to search anymore, I feel like I already have all japanese or anime related games.
Now I'm tired, eternally walking... forever dying, and never stopping. I feel in sorrow, all I see is white. I’m following a blind way beneath a sad sky.

Umineko no Naku Koro ni (They did 2 games for PS3, they are the original visual novels with better graphics, chat box, CG images, voices with lipsynch and new OPs)
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle
Sengoku Basara 3

I will try the Umineko games. I never got into Jojo's Bizarre Adventure games, and on top of that, it's a fighter, and I've been playing like 9 fighters in a row lately (SSFIV, SC5, DoA 5, Tekken Hybrid, P4A, SF X Tekken, PS A-S BR, MvsC, UMvsC...), and I already played Sengoku, I didn't mentioned it because it's not exactly anime per se. If I count it, then I must count the Dead or Alive and Tekken games, Samurai Warriors, Genji, Warriors Orochi...

Thanks for the recommendation  :)
I hope the Umineko games are better than the anime, though... it's the only anime I consider worth of 0/10.

If you can tolerate dumb Vocaloid stuff, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F isn't a bad rhythm game. JoJo's a good recommendation, even if it's not exactly a stellar fighter, because it's a loving tribute to one of the best properties out there.

What even constitutes an "anime game" for you? Is it an aesthetic hang-up? The definition seems a little sketchy, judging from that list of games. An odd thing to be constrained by, in any case.

From what I've heard of the anime, you can expect the games to be a hell of a lot better, and then some.

It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.

You are now reading this in Robert Belgrade's voice.

Then Lords of Shadow 2 just takes a big, semi-solid, smelly, pea-green dump all over everything.

That's a nice one! I will try it! Thanks!  :)

It's difficult to make a definition of what is an anime game to me, but JRPG is not exclusive to that category. Any game with aesthetic anime design might fit.

From what I've heard of the anime, you can expect the games to be a hell of a lot better, and then some.
Haha! I was joking with Lely, since I know he is a fan  :P

Sorry, but its a bit incorrect
Sengoku Basara Anime Trailer

They did not 1, but 2 anime series and 1 OVA. :)

Thanks for the recommendation  :)

You're welcome and yes its better, though I would not give a 0/10, maybe a 3/10 to the anime, since I've already seen worst things than that. Thats true that the anime isnt very good, since you will not receive a conclusion and they butchered a lot of important scenes, making it impossible to discover important things.

Also one of the best battles was dumbed down and is a insult to me, here is the scene in the anime and here is the scene made by fans, showing more or less what the narrative tells you in the game.

Anime:
Beatrice Vs Virgilia Subbed (Umineko Ep 14)

I know, but its not far from the truth for the majority of people that watch animes where you dont need to think. :P

I've seem people bash this franchise only because they couldnt understand it, so I know that a lot of people would tell you that its a 0/10 without trying to be funny xD

From my personal experience, it just bored me when they kept repeating virtually the same chapters over and over without advancing the story, until they show you why it was, but I think it's a story that could have been told in half the episodes.
I would say 6,5 from my experience, but it isn't objective, it's just how I enjoyed it. That's how I punctuate things  :)

Some people doesnt notice it, but each "rewind in time" is actually a totally different scenario with more clues to what really happened, thats why I recommend "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni" and "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai" first, since you will understand how pararel worlds and time works. You can call me a freak, but I understood that it was a parallel world in Higurashi since the first "rewind" since its natural to me think about time travel and things like that.

So its like that: each "scenario" will be different from another, but with the core untouched (who-dunnit and why-dunnit). :P

Also Higurashi is actually complete (so you will certainly understand everything in the end, I've discovered who was the culprit in the second scenario because of a little difference in how things happened lol), while Umineko anime isnt.

Yes, I understood Higurashi completely, and with Umineko I understood the important stuff.
But of course I know each rewind is a different scenario. It just became tiresome after a few times.

Its really easy to be bored when they cut almost everything from the story and only leaves massacres xD
Higurashi is more enjoyable since it varies the mood, while in Umineko anime they cut almost all these "good times" scenes. The Visual Novel is balanced.

Oh I have a game franchise for you. Gundam.
Just check if the title you choose is a good game cause not all gundam games are good.

Mechas are always welcome, they should bring these games that unites Kamen Rider, Ultraman and Gundam to a home console again.
