Castlevania Chronicles on VITA

When you search for Castlevania games with the Vita on PS store, SOTN and the Dracula X chronicles were the only games that show up. In fact they are the only CV games that you can download from the store with a Vita.

But most if not all PSP games are downloadable on the Vita, and when I noticed that Castlevania Chronicles was available for download on the PSP but not the Vita, I became confused and irritated.

I did a little searching and found out that you can in fact get Castlevania Chronicles on your Vita system! All you have to do is download it from the PS store on a PS3. Before you install, hook up the vita and copy the content from the PS3 to the vita.

It's that easy! And I actually was able to install the game on both my Vita and my PS3 which means the game is a secret cross-buy Vita and PS3 CV title! You can also cross-save your progress between the PS3 and Vita. I installed on the PS3 after it was copied to the Vita.

That is nice to know.

I wonder how many other PSOne games that aren't in the Vita store can be added to the Vita this way.

Wonder why Konami didn't bother telling anyone about this.

X68000 is a damn good game.

Sympathize? I know a bunch of people who have Vita's man. I know more people with Vita's than I do with Wii U's.

It's relevant Castlevania related info for this forum. Forum goers who are considering a Vita might want to know that they can have 3 CV titles on it, as well as games like Muramasa Rebirth and Dragon's Crown. I know for a fact that there are people here who are considering purchasing a Vita.

And just because most of the regular forum posters don't talk about having a Vita, that doesn't mean that there aren't people here that own them that do not post about it.

am talking about this forum, not in real life lol sorry if i ruffled your feathers but i gotta Trollmeister award, i ruffle everyones feathers here so just roll with me & we'll have a good time  ;)

but its still not a popular handheld at all, thats just a fact (at least not as popular as its predecessor was). i know it underperformed, but its still a great handheld tech-wise & thats a shame.. dont get offend because im dissing the system, am not dissing you o.o;

i know theyre making the vita-slim, but will it be hackable? if so i may consider it. is it possible to play MoF on vita

I also picked up a VITA when I purchased Ys 4. And Intersection is right about it being more comfortable then the PSP. If only SONY had conceived it's design back in the day.

Ok so far there are 3 Vita owners confirmed. Anyone else, speak up! We have to reach a total of 10!

No worries Crisis, I can roll!

I've always been into handhelds without loyalty. I usually end up owning them all at some point.

I bought a 3DS and kept it for a while. Comparing them side by side made me realize how superior the Vita really is. I even feel that the Vita offers a stronger game library when you combine it with all of the non Vita exclusive games you can download from the store including minis.

If they make PS2 classics available for the Vita sometime soon (which I have a feeling they will) that will mean LOI on the Vita. LOI is one of my favorite IGAvanias and I would be thrilled to play it again on a handheld.

And who knows what the future holds. We may just get lucky and get a Vita exclusive Castlevania game.

I think part of the problem is that a lot of people just don't realize how awesome the Vita really is. It's pretty hard to play one and not want it. At least it was for me.
