LOL! I think your sister is a little confused. No offense theANdROId. Does your sister know that Twilight is not the first story to involve vampires drinking blood that is not from a human? A movie I watched a while back called 'My best friend is a vampire" had vampires drinking pig's blood. And since pigs a very similar to humans it makes sense. Even if the vampire is not drinking human blood but drinking blood of another animal, it's still blood. therefore they aren't vegetarians, lol. But my biggest gripe with twilight is the whole sparkly bit.

No offense taken!  I doubt she's read many vampire stories...I don't really think they're quite her thing.  I know she likes reading, but I think she typically prefers older books and classics I think.  The only modern titles I know of that she's read are the Harry Potter series and Twilight.  ;-P  (I'm sure there are other modern books she's read though...she loves reading.)

My family is very sarcastic too...she could have been "hamming it up" for me a bit. :-D
