I agree with the food theme for the December contest.

Yeah...the food idea is really neat.  It'd fit with Thanksgiving in Nov., and the big family meal many people have at Christmas too.

To create an original Dracula end boss sprite!

DIdn't vote for that one, but sounds cool! Maybe hard for beginners, but we'll see :p

I didn't vote for that one either, but it got the most votes, so I think this November contest is for the more experienced spriters.
Beginners are better off waiting for the December contest on FOOD! (At least there's a good long time to think about which items one can make)

You'd think this month's would be food for thanksgiving, and next month's would be a contest to see how you can incorporate Santa's hat on Dracula. Or make a boss sprite. Or both. Whatever you want.

EDIT: I said this elsewhere, but it maybe should be here (too)...I think designing an end-boss is a little rich for the blood of this beginner...but if you still need a judge, and if it isn't a problem that I haven't designed my own sprites before, I'd be happy to judge this one.  I'd like to think I could still be a fair judge...I've always loved the "pixelated" style, and I'm a quick learner...but if those of you with more experience think it would be a bad idea...well, I wouldn't know enough to argue with you! ;-P :-D
