There should only be one other Sorrow related game, and that should be the 1999 game with Julius
What a horrible night to have a curse!

Personally, I'd like to see that game com eaorund, but it shouldn't be part of the sorrow series.

I agree that the third CV aria game should be 1999 battle I would imagine a mix between COTM and contra. Also those devoted to religion are as annoying to those who babble on about how atheisism is right.

Agreed Elementalblazer.  It's a friggin double edge sword: there are bad apples in both bunches (I've met the worst on both sides) but it doesn't mean either should be hated for those few, stupid people.

Though I will however, openly admit that super religious people scare me a *little* more than super atheist.

A little story about that:
I've had a run in with a horrible set of overprotective and religious parents that shunned one of my best friends because she had a baby out of wedlock.

They proceeded to shun me because I refused not to be this person's friend (Their daughter and I were good friends so they actually went out of their way to talk to me about this. I didn't even know my other friend was preggers until this conversation honestly so they'd already stepped OoB.) and also, wouldn't join their church/religion. (I'm already a set religion and just don't want to be said religion, though I won't go into detail to be polite on which religion they were a part of.)

So they tried to force their daughter not to hang out with us anymore because we were, and I quote "Sinners for the devil".

After a while, we had other people (from this church)calling us whores (I suppose I'm a whore by association XD ) and all sorts of crap cause I suppose they told them we were trying to 'corrupt' their daughter.

To make a longer story short, we ended up not hanging with girl until she moved out (or rather ran away) and there was almost lawsuits for deformation of character when this crap cost me getting a job.

Though I'm more anti this certain church than all religious people as a whole now.

And agreed, the only game in the 'Sorrow' series now should be the 1999 game.  Julius needs his spotlight damn it! XD

I was suppose to say something profound here. I don't 'do' profound so much as ramble so...whatever. Here lies text. Congratulations for reading it.  You were as bored as I am. Seriously, stop reading, you can't be that bored.  Still here? Really?  You officially are my new favorite person and now are owed one internet cookie. Don't eat it though, it gives you bad gas.

Yes, incidents like that are what make me dislike religious people.

Aria of sorrow sequel #32, Lol of Sorrow.

An evil cult again assaults Soma who is now 51, and tries to turn him into a dark lord like they do every year, and he has to stop them! >:(

Aria of Sorrow had the best story in all of Castlevania IMO; Dawn of Sorrow is clearly an afterthought by comparison.  With that said, another Soma game would degrade Aria even further.

I too am awaiting news on Julius' adventure, but I wouldn't throw the tactical soul system to the fire just yet.  IGA should give us at least one game controlling Mathias Dracula on his mad quest to become the most powerful vampire in the world.  There's what? a few hundred years between Lament and Dracula's Curse?

I'm wondering exactly who would make an appearance in the Sorrow prequel. We know that Julius and Alucard will be in it, but after playing through CoD, Saint Germain mentions going forward in time to witness the final battle between Dracula and humans. So I'm guessing he'll make an appearance too

If the usa timeline can be trusted, it'd be Alucard, J, Yoko's ancestor and a Hakuba priest. And Germain since he set himself up in cod for that.

You don't really need anyone more except some villains, that's enough for a decent protagonist casting.

Yeah, that's making this game sound good. I hope will be, though.

Aria finished on a perfect note if you get the best ending, Dawn was completely unneeded, and a 3rd game would give me the impression that Konami is completely desperate, and jjust might alienate me enough that I would stop playing the series altogether.

I do like the sorrow series, but I would like a next game with a Belmont instead.

How about IGA makes a friggin' game set in the 14th century on how Matthias became Vlad the Impaler or something, and how the Church dealed with him, making him the Lord of Darkness and thus, the Curse of the Belmonts finally begins.
