I feel like i'm the only one who thought LoS series was good, but did not require Castlevania as their titles.

Or releasing even less CV games in the near future than planned.

How do you release less than 0 games?  :-X

I also think that this game would be like this IF they didn't used Castlevania in the title. Because of this error, who knows when we will see a new Castlevania game...

I just hope that if Konami continues the series, they're taking notes from IGA's kickstarter in terms of promotion and generating buzz. Even a marketing strategy of "do something...ANYTHING!!" would be a step up from their usual effort.

I just hope Bloodstained shows them that an IGA game, or even just a CV-esque game in general, can be more than just a modest success when handled correctly (assuming that this actually happens, of course). Who knows? Maybe they'll come out with a new game and try to compete with him directly? That would be fun to see.

But this is Konami we're talking about. They'll probably do a bug-ridden mobile port of Symphony, announce it two weeks after it hits the marketplace, and then give up on the franchise entirely. I'd love to see IGA's new game spark their minds, but I can't help but assume they'll do something horrible.
It's like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but instead it's Who Wants Fried Chicken? I do.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Encore, a puzzle game like Encore of the Night, but you will need to buy a DLC to see the real ending.

I have as much hope for Konami to make another traditional Castlevania than Hideo Kojima making a Silent Hill game.

Then hopefully Castlevania shall rise again, like the Dark Lord Dracula, as Konami realise the error of their ways folowing the success of Bloodstained, and sell the series to Iga, who then rules both series.  Hey, a lady can dream.

Why do almost all mobile games have this really tacky, empty feeling to them?

The above is the prime example of the direction Konami decided to take for its near future. They could have pursued mobile gaming in a concurrent manner like Capcom or Square Enix do; but no, Konami decided to shit on the 30 year-old legacy of all the existing IPs they ever owned and join the race to the bottom of F2P mobile gaming.

To be honest, Castlevania had it good in comparison to IPs like Silent Hill. We got some great games and the franchise's swansong, Order of Ecclesia, is considered by many as one of the best games in the franchise. At this point, I only want to see Konami die and have it's IPs pillaged from its rotting corpse. The one thing I could ask of them is to put Bloodlines in the Wii U VC or something like that but I'm not holding my breath. Not after all what has gone down the past few months.

Bloodstained is the morning sun that has come to vanquish this horrible night. And as as long as I have that to cling to, I can be at peace with Castlevania never having a proper game again. As sad as that may sound.
