I think so. The Sega "Project Dream" was announced by these guys who started a change.org petition to make a Dreamcast 2. Now, there was a webpage created with a countdown to Sega's "announcement".
Apparently it's to be a PC console hybrid... Like a steam machine? And there's nothing on Sega's official site linking to this, and nothing taking about the " Project Dream" countdown.
Apparently the guy behind the Dreamcast 2 idea spoke with Sega of Japan, who will bring the idea to higher ups for discussion, and this is to coincide with Sega's new arcadr hardware this coming new year.
OK, first off, does anyone know the cost of R&D, advertising, manufacturing, software, EVERYTHING involved with releasing a console? Sega doesn't have the money to do this, and it would be horrible idea for Sega. Even if its a steam machine from Sega, they wouldn't do it. Besides that, like I said, Sega's officially not involved with any of this, and its coming a little bit after a change.ord petition caught steam online. Who's to say no trolls would jump on this opportunity to massively Troll fans?
Besides that, info is really confusing. The best article I could find was the cinemablend one:
